TERRIBLE! Go elsewhere! Read her other public reviewers across Yelp, etc. who have pointed out that this woman is rude, arrogant and crazy. A bit of necessary history..I had an appointment there in Dec 2013 marked a "no show" because my husband dropped my Morkie off at the wrong groomers..I had taken her to Doggie Style several times but hadnt been thrilled with the customer service or grooming (they dont even check vaccinations). I then tried a highly respected full service vet/groomers Went 3 times, but this new groomer was very busy often needed weeks to get you in. That didnt always work with my schedule, as a backup, thought I would give Doggie Style one more chance right before a last minute vacation. My husband is not a details person, so when he inadvertently dropped her off at the always booked (usual) new groomers, I couldnt fault him. Honest mistake, miscommunication. Of course I got two calls within an hour. Doggie Style-"where is your dog?" Vet- "why is your dog here?" Everyone laughed it off, stuff happens. Yes, I was embarrassed and my husband was bewildered. The unsuspecting vet was so nice they happily groomed her. Have been getting groomed with excellent safe service now for 1.5 years. So, now we are to the problem. My current groomer took a two week vacation and was booked for a month solid upon return. Im leaving the country, need dog groomed. I am desperate and call Doggie Style as a last resort. I talk with a very pleasant lady who asks me would I like wed or friday, drop off between 8-9. I choose wednesday (boy, they sure arent busy, wonder why). 10 minutes later I have a voice mail asking me if ""im sure Im going to bring my dog since i was a "no-show" last time"". I tell them I understand their concern and I apologized again for my husbands mistake...(from 1.5 yrs ago!!!). I guarantee the very nice lady on the phone that my dog will be there as Im personally bringing her... We share a chuckle. This is where it gets ugly. REAL UGLY. Since drop off is 8-9a, I call 10 min before 9 and let them know I will be there in 5 min at 8:55 am since they were concerned in the past. When I get there Gretchen the psycho owner comes out from the back with my "history" on a 4x6 notecard. She gleefully announced she doesnt take appointments from previous no-shows. I tell her this is now the 3rd time Ive been scolded, and once again Im sorry for my husbands mistake....but Im happily here for my appointment. She then looks at my card and states she has no idea where Ive been taking my dog and what I even want from her. Really? I explain to her my previous appt ( day before) call with a store employee for a groom, AND the return call from her store to verify my appointment. She tells me it wasnt her I talked to, and she doesnt have an appointment for me..shes too busy... What she is so gleefully and sickly doing is shaming me to my face. That was her plan all along. I am at this point shocked and confused. this must be a mistake. I even have a confirmation voicemail. I tell her the way she is talking and treating me is rude and unnecessary. This is in front of another customer. She lays my history card on the counter and writes a huge X across it. WOW. Why in the world would I be there with my dog at 8:55 for nothing, without an appointment. Its totally wrong for her to mislead me, have me come in on the premise of an appointment so she can tell me I have no appointment with her ugly sick smirk.. I tell her pointedly that Im going to review her accordingly on Yelp, Google and Foursquare for this ridiculous childish revenge game she plays. Her cowardly rely, "im calling the police". Hey lady, call the police and let them commit you to the psych ward. She literally had the police on speed dial. hmmmm, wonder why. I cant even believe this whole situation. Everyone has a bad day, but WOW. Do not go near this unsafe place full of possibly sick and unvaccinated dogs. Support a different local business. ANYONE else but this angry, hateful, crazy woman.

Owner is rude and short! I called to get an appointment for my cat Hewie. The receptionist books my appointment. I ask her about how long the appointment will take. She says about 2 to 3 hours. Surprised as my groomer back home took about an hour. I was a bit uncertain but went along with the appointment. The receptionist senses this and I get a call back from her saying their groomer dose not feel comfortable doing Hewie because of the time frame I suggested and I need to go ahead and find someone else. Taking back a bit and without explanation of the Grooming process. I told them that was fine if it took longer that Im sure that every groomer must have their own technique and frame of time for doing things. The owner then calls me and says shes feels uncomfortable taking Hewie.. I explain to her I am fine with the time! I then call the owner back and ask her how long has the groomer been doing cats? She gets defensive and hostile and says we are just not a good fit for you. You need to take Hewie somewhere else! I have some references for u. Im dumbfounded and ask but why? Short and rude..."Your just not a good fit! Im really upset that someone would treat me that way on the phone especially the owner. They made me feel like they where too good to groom my cat. Being new to KC all I wanted was to someone to reassure me that Hewie would be in good hands.

Ive been to countless groomers. My baby Hannah has hated nearly every single one, shaking uncontrollably anytime we enter the groomers. Whats worse is that Ive come to distrust many groomers, who either cut too close or just dont treat Hannah how I want her to be treated. And then I tried Doggie Style Bowtique. And its Hannahs grooming home forever now. What I love is that its always the same lady who answers the phones, takes Hannah in, schedules the next visit, brings Hannah back out, and takes my money. So Ive really come to trust her. She remembers the details of how I like Hannah to be cut, which makes me feel very comfortable leaving her there. And what does Hannah think of this place? She never shakes when we arrive and she seems to like all the staff very much. Some helpful info: At Doggie Style, there is a certain timeframe in the morning during which you can bring in your doggie. On Saturdays, for instance, dogs are brought in between 9am and 10am. And they groom the dogs in the order they arrive. I bring Hannah in right at 9am, and shes always ready before noon. Id definitely recommend Doggie Style Bowtique over and over and over again.

Im the happiest dog momma ever thanks to the lovely service my dog received this morning!!! His previous groomers have always complained about how awful he acted during his sessions. I was always so nervous to take him in, but after searching the Internet and reading many reviews I found this Bowtique. I warned them multiple times about his "history" with groomers. The awesome ladies assured me that he would be ok! Just 2 short hours later he was ready to be picked up, he had a perfect cut, an adorable bandana, AND the groomer herself recorded their session- in which he was perfect! They all had such sweet caring attitudes toward all the pets in the office and they even held and loved on on my baby! This was a PERFECT experience for my dog and I!!! (Plus they were extremely well priced!)
