I volunteer for Small Miracles Cat & Dog Rescue, the rescue in charge of cat adoptions. Plus I live nearby so this is one of 2 local pet stores for me. Definitely stop in and give the cats up for adoption a look! Events are usually Sat & Sun or by appointment. Anyway prices are a bit high...I can get the same 40lb bag of Dr Elseys Precious Cat Litter on amazon delivered to my door for $5 cheaper. I usually only buy from here when i forgot to order litter in time or am in a rush. The staff members are very nice - minus one female manager (who I think got transferred *secret smile*) She once came over and demanded the employee standing next to me close the cat cage when I was playing with the kitties bc it wasnt adoption time. She even called the adoption director, who proceeded to tell her that I can use the key to open the kitty cages whenever I want. I mean why do you work in a PET store if you seemingly dont like animals? <-- atleast thats what I gathered from how opposed she was to me taking time out of my day to love on the shelter kitties. Oh well, at least shes gone now and I wont dread going in to pick up cat litter and being met with a smirk and rude stare.

Wow. Horrible service. Front counter slouched over the counter as if she was hung over/ drunk/ or generally pissed to be working retail. Asked about a canine product disgustingly she pointed me to the area of the store "its on the wall". Well they were out of stock of every kind of canine tooth paste. Shelf was dry, nothing. I told the lady they were out is there any stock in the back, she replied no. I guess Friday at 4 pm means no customer service. Checking petco online they have 4 products available for in store pick up. Here is a thought take your lazy butt back to the back and find the sku. This is why big box is dying and e-commerce is so much better. I will never go back and support pet smart from here on out.

Grooming always booked due to understaffing. If youre getting business why not hire more people so that you can make more $ and be available to your loyal customers ?

They had everything we needed and service was friendly. The only thing I didnt like was the merchandise was sitting in the isles so it was hard to move cart around.

Kids love visiting the animals. But if you go at opening time, there may be boxes all in the aisles because they havent finished stocking. New store.

Strangest thing happened there. My rescue dog let the cashier pet him and after eight years has still not me to this day.
