I’m writing this review mainly to give well deserved praise to the customer service and care from two particular Audi of Annapolis employees, Service Advisor Ray Johns and Service Manager Steve Savageaux. After purchasing my used pre-certified Audi in 2013, I scheduled an appointment at Criswell and was lucky to be assigned Ray Johns as my service advisor. Ray, I would found out from that day and many days/years to follow, was always looking out for his clients. In 2015, I had a terrible experience with my Audi pre-certified warranty where Corporate Audi was not going to honor covering the cost of a repair. It took over a week to resolve the issues and for the warranty to be honored. During that period of time, I was provided with the BEST customer service at Criswell. Ray and Steve both provided me with critical information and honest recommendations that went above and beyond. It was because of this, I was able to get resolution to my warranty issues. They also provided me a loaner car during that entire week and significantly lowered the cost to just parts and no labor which helped me get my car back quickly. This is not something that Criswell was responsible for doing but yet did it anyway. Ray carries his commitment and customer care beyond the work place by providing his cell number so he can be reached at anytime. He is always professional and provides outstanding service with a smile every time I go for service. In a day and age where it’s difficult to trust mechanics, I feel nothing but trust because of Ray. In times past, I would venture out to less expensive mechanics after the warranty had expired. I don’t see doing that as long as Ray is my service advisor. If it hadn’t been for both Ray and Steve providing excellent customer service and care, Audi would be losing future business from this customer. Thanks Ray and Steve for giving me a place to take my vehicle that I feel is trustworthy. Audi is lucky to have two of the best exemplary employees.

I was about to buy my Q5 from a different dealer but these guys were so straightforward and accommodating that I got a gut feeling of trust... a rare thing with car dealers for me. I already had an excellent price on the car from the other dealer. No kidding..it was a better price than any I was seeing online on Edmunds. It was better than the Zagg/USAA/Amex price. Adam and Tim met the price without any problem and in fact lowered it by 150 dollars. They were able to get the car 1 month sooner than the other dealer. They convinced me I didnt need an expensive add on that I had originally wanted (!). They said that if I did insist on getting it (mud guards), they would pay for half of them. I didnt get them. After the deal was already done, they threw in weather mats and trunk liner for no extra cost. They promised to get me in and out of the dealership quickly on the day of the deal and they certainly did. Not only that, I didnt have transportation to the dealership which is an hour from my house. They came and picked me up. The finance guy didnt push any bs items that I didnt want (warranty, undercoating, lojack. He gave me some literature and told me that if I was interested I could call him. This was by far the easiest and most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. I would recommend this dealer over any other dealer even if it meant driving there from Washington or Baltimore (or wherever). This is a family owned dealership and They treated me like they cared about me and about their reputation. I just cant say enough good things about them.

I live and work in Annapolis. I had my 2015 Audi A3 towed to Audi of Annapolis the first time it broke down. This was one of many Audi of Annapolis dealer visits during my 10K miles of ownership, because apparently fixing a car properly isnt their expertise. They had the car for several weeks, and replaced the engine under factory warranty (as I only had 35K miles on the car). As soon as I drove off, an EPC light illuminated and put the engine into a reduced power mode. I brought the car in when I had time and they said they replaced a sensor, so that it was apparently functioning properly again. I then drove the car only a few hundred miles, and it broke down again. Now, it apparently needs another new engine (after less than 500 miles). They claim to have done nothing wrong, and are refusing to pay for my new engine or anything powertrain related on the vehicle because Audi claims I did something wrong, and the dealer seems to be hiding behind Audi, although the dealers negligence must be the reason for the most recent engine failure. From my understanding, I also believe that legally in Maryland once the dealer agreed in writing to replace the first engine under warranty and at no cost to me, they also legally agreed to a warranty on that engine, and that they cannot simply hide behind Audi corporate. If you want your engine to fail and be without a vehicle or money in your bank account, Audi of Annapolis is the place. I will be filing complaints with the State Attorney General and Better Business Bureau, and taking further legal action.

The dealership was able to fit my car into the garage in less than 24 hours of my call. They made sure I had directions on how to get there because i was a new customer. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly. Dick Schiavone introduced himself and walked me step by step through the initial consultation. He explained extended warranties and recalls on my car. He then told me it would take about an hour to run the diagnostic test. He took my number, and gave me a card. He advised me where I could go to shop to pass the time knowing that i was new to the area and how to best use my time before Christmas for shopping.Within 45 minutes, he called and gave me a report of the diagnostic. He informed me of what needed to be done and gave me options. He gave me an estimate of how long the work would take and also checked to make sure I was okay in the area. When my car was complete, he called and let me know it was ready to be picked up. It was done before it was promised. He gave me my ill and went over the charges. He recommended that I look in to getting tires put on my car and offered a retailer that they usually work with. He wished me a happy holidays and even spoke with me about the area where I live. My car was washed and vacuumed and looked great! I will definitely return to Criswell Audi! They are definitely worth the hour and twenty minute drive! They made me feel lke a very valued customer and that they truly cared about me and my car! Thank you for your wonderful customer service!

I just returned home from purchasing an Audi A3 from Lake Walton at Audi Annapolis. Not only am I LOVING my car but I am extremely happy with the entire purchase experience. My salesperson Lake was a lot of fun to work with and patiently answered ALL my questions, even the ridiculous ones. Dawn handled the financial end and she was extremely sweet and very efficient. Everything went so smoothly it was probably the easiest car purchase I have ever made. My 17-year old son, who just got his learners permit and is already "shopping" for his first car; peppered Lake with questions about possible cars and Lake patiently gave him advice and tips on what he should or shouldnt be looking for. He is already planning the next road trip to visit Lake when he gets the ok from Mom to buy. Maryland is a long way to go to buy a car when you live in Florida but it was totally worth it and Lake made a friend for life. Thanks to Lake and Dawn for a great buying experience and to all the behind the scenes people that helped get my car ready for its new home. I can barely remember what car I drove before today...oh yeah a BMW. In my sons words: "Mom, this car rocks". Now I just have to hide the spare car keys from him.
