We stopped by FitzgMall Mazda in Annapolis to simply look at the Mazda6 with no intent on making an immediate purchase. Our research on a wide variety of vehicles kept leading us back to the Mazda6 Grand Touring. We were met by William Hoyt, and we made it clear that we were only look, and he immediately made it clear that he was there to help us look, not to force a sale. And, at no time did he even try to push for a sale. One of the highlights of FitzMall is that they very clearly post their no-haggle sales price on the vehicle, which was significantly under the MSRP. William carefully walked us through the highlights of the vehicle, answering several questions regarding some of the option choices and technical questions. The inventory was great and allowed us to look at the three color options we were considering. When we determined that we wanted a 2015 rather than a 2016 because we liked the in-dash navigation/radio screen of the 15 rather than the above dash in the 2015, he found the exact model and options that we wanted in the color that we wanted. He set us up on a test drive. Upon our return, the dealership had technically closed for the evening, but the team was still standing by, which was great, because we were ready to buy. Because of the no-haggle sales price, there was no lengthy or bothersome games played to make a deal. While we kept the team there far later than they normally stay, they were awesome, from sales to management to finance. They obtained some great financing terms for us and even identified an additional $1000 in savings on the vehicle. We highly recommend you visit FitzMall Mazda in Annapolis and ask for William Hoyt. Even if you dont buy a car from him, you will not be disappointed with your experience.

As it got close to the end of the year, I realized that I needed to dump my 99 Volvo V70. Darn thing was giving me problems and aside from that I realized that for the first time I could really afford a new car. Having done my research, I decided that I wanted a Mazda3. FitzMall in Annapolis was the first place I visited (given that it was closest to where I live), and Anthony Johnson was the dealer I worked with. He was a good man, honest, friendly, and didnt give off the vibe of a typical salesman. I thanked him and left to look at other dealerships for about 2 weeks...and was dissatisfied with the other dealerships and salesmen I talked with. Some of them were way too charming to be real, some had really bad deals, some wanted to play a lot of games (at one dealership a salesman said he would take my Volvo off my hands for $100...I mean, I know the car isnt worth much, but really?). I found the best deal elsewhere and brought it to Anthony, and he matched it, which pretty much sealed my deal with Fitz. The other salesmen there were also very helpful and nice people, and even the sales manager had a good sense of humor. There was no pushiness (at one point the manager asked me if I wanted the FitzWay extended warranty on the car, and when I said no, he actually said "okay" and went back to filling out the sales forms. GASP.), there were no games, just good deals and good people. And my new car, a 13 Mazda3 i Sport, was in great condition upon delivery. Ill write another review someday when I have to work with the mechanics at Fitz, but I just wanted to share my good experience from the sales department for now. Oh, and to Anthony Johnson: you are the man. Thank you very much!

Just wanted to post a quick review of the excellent experience we had buying a car for my son. He purchased a new Mazda 6 and actually flew from Tampa to Maryland to purchase. The price was unbeatable, but more importantly the experience was completely painless. The salesman took care of all the paperwork via Fedex, and there was just no BS and no pressure. I (father) stopped in a few weeks prior just to check out the car and dealership, and was just pleasantly surprised. Joe the salesman was laid back and personable and agreed to handle all the details with my son in Florida. This my friends is the only way that the car sales business should be run, as everyone get the same good price and the process is pleasant. For any of you that think that you can beat their price, please realize that in a standard dealership that just means that someone else gets hammered. Fitzmall just does it right and fairly. Lest you think this is a review sandbagged from the dealer, I will let you know that we did have to specifically ask for financing without any "bundled" extras, as the first finance quote gave four options with things like extended warranty, gap insurance, etc. A quick follow up gave us just the basic loan and the rest of the experience was great. My son flew into Washington at 2:30 on a Tuesday and we were driving home in his new car by 4:30. Cannot say enough good things about the sale. Please give them your business!

I ended up not buying a car from this particular dealer, but that was because I ended up not falling in love with the particular model of car I went there to take a peak at. I received absolutely stellar service from my salesperson, Anthony Johnson. I truly believe that had I bought from this place it would have been hassle-free and easy. Anthony showed me the car I was originally interested in and gave me a multitude of options and suggestions. Upon realizing it wasnt the car for me, he showed me others and really tried to determine what might be a good fit. I truly felt taken care of at this establishment. This entire time there was no pressure and it really was kind of nice change from the usual car dealers. This took place on an incredibly hot day, so staying outside for long wasnt easy for a man in a long-sleeved dress shirt and long pants! I truly appreciate the kindness and service that I received from Anthony Johnson. Everyone at the dealership was pleasant. I would recommend that any person looking go for a car go in and ask for Anthony Johnson. This is the first time that Ive actually felt rather guilty from not buying a car from a particular salesman. Enough that Im coming back to write a review of a place were I didnt buy a thing - I think that is saying something.

Really disappointing experiences at Fitzgerald. Long story short, the didnt give us all the information on how they do their pricing and when we walked into sign our contracts, the price was $2,000 more than we anticipated, and Im not talking about taxes and fees. The base price was $2,000 more than we had been told it was! Apparently since we decided to go with the 0% financing, we had to add $2,000 to the price they gave us. Umm, that would have been good to know!! Completely ruined the car buying experience for us. We talked to one of their managers about it, but really all we got were a lot of excuses, so I guess this is just how they do business and we were idiots for not knowing and being surprised. They said they have people surprised about the price all the time at other dealers. Im not sure why that makes this ok. Strange way to do business. We would not recommend them.
