A few years ago our washing machine was acting up, and we called Honest and Fair Appliance Repair. The service tech was very professional and polite, and quickly figured out the problem and got the machine working. Earlier this week, we woke on Thanksgiving morning to find our fridge not working! Family all on the way over for the feast! We quickly put everything outside in the 40 degree temp and called Honest and Fair, leaving a message on their machine. Friday morning we were getting ready to leave to go buy another fridge when the phone rang. It was Honest and Fair, and he spoke with my husband a few moments, and very kindly and generously, explained to my husband what had probably happened (because its common around the holidays with people putting extra food in the freezer). It seems we had bumped a temperature dial in the freezer (which you cant see unless you sit on the floor because its a bottom freezer), and that turned off the whole fridge! My husband turned it back on and voila... the compressor started humming a happy tune! How kind of the service company to explain that over the phone, instead of coming out for a service call which would have earned them some money! Its such a pleasure to know we have a local company that truly lives up to the name Honest and Fair. I highly recommend trying them if you have any appliance service needs!

I called and described the problem with my washer. Jim was very helpful on the phone and told me that they would give me an opinion about whether it was worth fixing (it is over 10 years old). The technician came when he said he would be and with an adjustment to the lid closing switch (no part needed!) the washer was running again. He then went on to check over the machine for leaks or any other problems and made sure it was running properly. These guys really are honest and fair and they know what they are doing. Polite, professional, and excellent workers.

Jim came to my house to fix my dryer. After he left I smelled gas and called him. He told me that if he comes back and the gas leak was not from what he did, he would have to charge me for a service call and that I should call O & R instead. I did, and the leak was because he did not re-connect the gas to the dryer properly. This occurred several years ago, but Honest and Fair has been brought up in conversations recently with friends and they all have had bad experiences with the repair service.

The name of the company says it all!!! I called them up and they were very prompt and polite the whole process. They can out the next day and made a repair on my appliance that. Wet same visit. Couldnt be happier! Highly recommend them. Thanks Jim
