I like the chain in general with good products and prices. I prefer their meat department when making selections for summer grilling. This is a newer store with a good clean layout, however it is forced into a very small downtown campus area. Traffic while school is in session is very busy on 195 - the parking lot (and its aisles/spaces) seem small. The aisles in the store are again small - and the product selection are more limited than other price choppers/supermarkets in the area. There are spaces to charge electric vehicles - and I have never had trouble getting a parking spot, but if you have a big truck or SUV the maneuvering is tight.

Well organised and clean store. Prices are higher than other discount markets (Aldi, Price Rite), but slightly below the other high end grocers like Big Y, and Stop&Shop to which Price Chopper more accurately compares due to their local produce focus. Great staff that always seems willing to help, they once offered to put aside uncut loaves of bread for me each morning since the ones on display were sliced.

I am very very unhappy with the price chopper because they charged me higher than what I bought several times! The seafood, which is $3.9, was charged $5. The tomato, which is $1.7, was charged $4.3. Much more than those... I used to come to the custom service to argue about it. They confirmed their mistake, without apologize. Just be careful when you shop there!

This was built in Storrs Downtown especially for students. A great full grocery convenience. However, the store is dirty and nothing seems to be restocked. Veggies and fruit not fresh. Try to find a floor employee to help you. Easy to access, and thats the only time I"ll patronize. Hope you improve!

Called them and the woman told me theyre open until 12. I show up at 11:55 and the doors were locked, and she shouted at me "sir the store is closed!" As she drove away. I only needed one item. Good thing I ran 20 minutes to make it here before 12...

Time after time I have bad food here. Veggies with mold on them. Today Brussel sprouts with bugs in them. Old fish brown meat... The list goes on and on. Avoid this place like the plague.

This store is usually one of my last choices honestly. Its the closest to me but lots of college kids (understandably) and no discounted produce. It has a Starbucks though!
