Big Y in my opinion is one of the more expensive grocery stores. They have the buy 1 get 2 free sales all the time. when they have these sales the prices are usually marked up so much its not such a great deal. know your prices before you go.

pleasant and clean, decent quality--but its not the cheapest. I dont like the pricing obfuscation game --wait, what? Is it 4 for a dollar, or twenty-five cents each--or is that only with a silver coin--ah, screw it! (throw item in cart)

Like another review mentioned the sales here are a bit misleading. The "buy one get two free" usually works out so each package is their normal everyday price. Just keep an eye on the math, a lot of times its not worth the purchase.

This is where I usually shop because its close to me. Im disappointed that they throw away produce rather than discount it. They dont have a great organic selection either although it seems like theyre trying.

Friendly and helpful employees, in a bit higher-priced store selling groceries and general household items. They have a bunch of vegan and vegetarian foods, some of which are sometimes on sale.
