My husband and I came in last Saturday to purchase paint for a nursery. I came in prepared with the color code I wanted and the square footage of the room. Not only did they not give us enough paint to complete the room, somehow they managed to give us the wrong color paint. We didnt realize this until we had to go get another quart to finish it. We went to another Ace Hardware because on top of everything, the customer service at this Ace was terrible. When we put the quart of paint on the wall, it was definitely a different color. I could tell though that the extra quart was the color I originally asked for. So not only do we have to get another gallon of paint to make sure the room is all the same color, we have to repaint the whole room. Not a good experience at all.

If you need hardware essentials urgently and are close to downtown, this is your best bet. However, if you can make it out to a larger hardware store Id recommend doing so. The prices at this location are high. The staff are mostly helpful and knowledgeable, but Ive had some rather unfriendly encounters too. The store is well laid out and has a good stock of most small bits and pieces. They even have a small garden section with a selection of mulches, soils, etc. Their fishing section (which includes live bait) is very good. Overall, useful if you need something in a hurry, but too pricey for day to day use.

I was on a mission To find the perfect color to paint my new apartment and I stopped by this location. Rodger took one look at a photo of my living room and instantly knew what colors to throw at me. He was one of the greatest employees Ive ever came across at any store. He got me completely ready with everything I need at a great price. He had my best interest in mind and many people stopped by to see him in the 10 mins I was there and let me know just how great of hands I was in. Go see Rodger for all your paint needs!!

The employees are very knowledgeable and friendly . In my opinion, Home Depot and Lowes are not even close to the level of customer service that Ace Hardware provides. Pretty helpful service and convenient location. Parking is a bit of a mess when its busy but there is a lot of parking up and down Grant if you want to avoid the lot. You can probably find better prices online but when you need something now its not like they have obscene markups.

To me Ace Hardware is like a local convenience store for a quick pick up items that you forgot to pick up from Lowes or Home Depot. But you will pay a higher price at Ace if you dont want to drive all the way back to the mega store for a small simple item.

Not really sure why I was on hold for 12 min then called back and placed on hold without answering. All I wanted to know is if they carried a certain brand. The lady that answered just put me on hold then wouldnt answer my call again.

Has a good selection of tools and supplies for home repair and home improvement type items. They also have a key duplication service counter, where you can get your extra copies of your keys made, such as your house keys.
