Ive been going here for many years and never had much of a problem and actually enjoyed going here. This was until I went with a buddy to rent a stump grinder. After telling the guy our situation and the size of stump he hesitated and told us that it was large but you guys should be okay with the grinder. So he gave us "old blue" and off we went. For the 90% of the stump it was relatively uneventful until the drive belt slipped off and we took it back an hour and a half early with the job still unfinished. Reason would tell you that when the machine goes down the user should be compensated for that time lost. However the 2 guys working there really wanted nothing to deal with that. The one guy told us that the stump we were working on was to big but when we picked it up he hesitated and said that the machine should be fine. The other guy said that I dont feel bad for guys that rent the machine for an hour then bring it back why should I feel bad for you. Considering though that those guys brought it back after a finished job and not because of failure on the machine I dont feel bad for those guys either. However there is still 10% of a stump remaining in the backyard. So not only did we get ripped off for an hour and half of time but also the customer service was clearly lacking. In short I will never be back to home depot which was my a go to hardware store.

Just my real experience of buying an electric Ryobi ride-on mower from this store: so far a nightmare at every step. Bought the mower at a store and ordered a delivery with a 2-hour window. The mower was delivered 2.5 hours earlier so we could not be there. Only the mower and the mulching plastic were delivered without charger and manual. Called Home Depot and was transferred to several people. Nobody was apologetic (did say to return the extra $20 for the 2-hour window) and asked me to call Ryobi. Ryobi asked me to call the store manager and said there should a box with the charger and manual. Eventually the store manager called me and said she found the charger and manual. I went there to pick things up. There was no box, but a broken plastic bag with a totally wet manual. The store manager did print out a copy of the manual, but I dont know what has happened to the whole thing and how can they sell it like that. Just tried the charger and it did not work (light is not on and there is no sound showing it is working). Wait to see what is next. Totally regret buying it and prepare to return. I did read all the nice reviews of the product on the websites of Home Depot and Ryobi. But my review is currently moderated. I really dont know how many of reviews on there are real. Be careful and make your own judgement.

Ordered appliance online on 11/23/15, according to the online order, it should have been in store between 12/01/15 and 12/04/15 (I ordered it to ship to store). On 12/02 I called the Cuyahoga Store to check if the order was received, I was told (Very rudely) that Store has no idea when order will be in until it shows up at the store.... I waited until 12/05 and I called Customer service (800 number) and after about 30 minutes of pretty much worst automatic system promts finally reached operator who was very difficult to hear and understand (Probably in India) I was told my order is probably lost. Now, please keep in mind, this box and appliance in it was over 36" x 48" - so pretty big box and it still got lost! Needles to say, I was very disappointed, I canceled my order and immediately called Lowes. Very nice gentleman verified in stock availability for me, I went to pick it up and, by accident, dealt with the same employee I talked over the phone with who was very helpful and remembered talking to me. He politely transported appliance to the front door and helped me load it. (While trying to do same in Home Depot few days earlier, before I made a mistake and ordered online, I was told by Home Depot associate to go get flat carts from the front of the store and take appliance my self...)

Purchased a washer and dryer, and scheduled a delivery date for the 13th of June, was told I was to be given a phone call before the delivery to specify the time of delivery . Did not receive any phone call and was woken up at 830 am. I asked the delivery men to give 5 minutes to prepare the area. They were rude and unprofessional. They dropped off the appliances and came back on the 16th for installation. There was an issue with the dryer and they refused to exchange because of their 48 hour policy. So they offered to fix it and the technician wouldnt come until the 22nd. I called their customer service and they promised to find a solution but did not such thing. Not even a call back. Im returning the dryer for a refund minus their 15 percent restocking fee. Im going to LOWES. Boycott Home Depot!!!!

Called this Home Depot about purchasing a Ariens Riding Mover. Since I live in California, but the Riding Mover was a gift for someone in Cuyahoga Falls, I was concerned about delivery, setup, assistance and so on. Spoke with Ramon who after understanding my situation, assured me that he will make sure all goes well. Placed the order with Ramon, and after couple of days received a call from him, that Riding Mover was assembled, oiled and filled with gas, ready to be delivered. Also received a call from delivery driver half hour before actual delivery that all is as scheduled. Riding Mover was delivered intact, as promised by Ramon and everyone was delighted. I would like to thank Ramon, and Home Depot for making this long distance purchase and delivery perfect.

I walked in the door with intentions of spending $200+, and walked out spending $0. During my miserable shopping experience here I was unable to purchase half of the items I was in search of. Your shelves were empty and the workers there were unaware of this. I would assume you have some sort of system that notifies you of product status that is out-of-stock. However, the products looked to have been at this status for quite some time. After not being able to buy the rest of my list I ditched my shopping cart and left. A complete waste of time. Normally, I would not be bothered by this so much, but this store was so unsatisfactory that I felt this review was necessary.

Place is absolutely terrible. The customer service sucks. Every time I go to get blinds cut there is never anyone in that section to help. I went today with my 2 year old and of course no one was working that section. I went to the customer service desk to ask for them to get someone and the girls working ignored me. Finally I just interrupted their conversation and asked for them to get someone to cut my blinds. The older lady said she would. So after waiting again for another 15 minutes I has to rudely tell someone to get a person over to cut my blinds. I dont get why a place like this operates they way they do but I will go elsewhere from now on
