Live on exit29 in Brunswick at drove to Ace Hardware on the island to get some HTH pool sand and this is where my wife bought some sand the day before and we needed another bag. Well went into the store and a gentleman ask what I was looking for I explained pool sand and he stated we dont carry pool sand I told him my wife just got some here and another gentleman said yeah and she bought the last bag. I called my wife and told her Im going in town since Im here already to try and find a bag. So I left and went to lowes they didnt carry it and I was headed to Walmart and they didnt have it. So got in my car and my wife called me she drove to the Ace hardware and got a bag and she said they didnt even look when I was their so they didnt bother to take the time check why I wa in their. Know your stock and what is on the shelf and this was my first time doing any business in this Ace will not be back.

It amazes me that there are so many employees that ask if they may help me. When I have gone to the 2 big stores in town, I have to search and search for somebody to assist me. I realized long ago that the price difference, if at all, was negligible and the drive negated any possible price advantage. I am headed there as soon as I finish this review. I love this store.

This is a wonderful store. I have shopped there many times and rely upon them for supplies as well as people to work on my home. They are friendly and knowledgeable. Just a special place. Ask for Tommy who works on the weekends if you have a thorny issue.
