Where do I even begin!! So I decided to get my nipples pierced yesterday and walked into Minds Eye and was welcomed by the full of life piercing master IAN. I was really just walking in to get some information on the procedure because it was my first time getting my nipples pierced. I walked out with knowledge! IAN has such a wonderful attitude that you cant help but love him. Very professional and I swear he will become your best friend by the end of the day. So I come back later to get my piercings done and the atmosphere is chill, clean and welcoming. We sat down for a bit just talking about the day. He informed me of the different types of piercings and showed me different options of jewelry. He examined me and recommended I do a vertical piercing and I am so glad I went with it. He doesnt just have you go in there and be like ok lay here lets good. He has great bedside manner. IAN literally let me watch him sterilize the equipment he used on me and watch him sterilize the room. Who does that right?! IAN does!!! From start of the procedure to the end he talked to me, calmed me and reassured me. It was over before I knew it. Its been almost 24hrs since I got them pierced and I am able to move freely with care of course but they do not bother me at all. Hyper sensitive to say the least. They are perfect!! I am so excited that I found Minds Eye and their staff. Especially getting to know IAN. If I could give 10 stars I would!!! I will not go anywhere else to get piercings. You will not regret coming here. Trust me!! They are amazing individuals and an amazingly sterile shop. In the words of IAN Let me give you life!!! Lol. Just amazing. Also he has a great candy selection lol.

AAfter starting a coverup for me, which I thought came out amazing so far, I took my friend here for a spontaneous tattoo session. I called robin and asked him if he was free in the time being, a half hour. He told us to come on down. I contemplated getting my belly button done here too and Im so happy I did, it turned out great. The piercer (Ian) is great. He makes you feel so relaxed. He doesnt "pre-sterilize" either, he sterilizes everything right there in front of you and takes approx. 20 mins for that. He tells you when to breathe to make your peircing go smoothly. Only cost me $60! I have nothing but good things to say about this shop. Also just got my nipples pierced here. $80 for both. On a scale of 1-10, the pain was like a 4. Ian is a fantastic piercer and makes you feel so comfortable

I am really quite intimidated and naive when it comes to the world of piercings, and per a friends recommendation I walked into Minds Eye looking for something to swap my barbell cartilage piercing for. I really had no idea what I was looking for and had shown Rooster what I had done. He was very quick to take me to the back and explain how horribly angled the piercer did my ear and how it was impeding the healing. He gave me some care instructions to reverse some of the scarring that was going on behind my ear that I couldnt see. Although I didnt actually purchase anything from the store, I would quickly recommend Rooster to anybody looking to get any kind of piercing done, as he is very knowledgeable and professional and really seems to have genuine care for his craft and customers.

I got my very first tattoo today and was very nervous. Was actually going to 13th Ave Tattoos but when the cab dropped me there they were closed and the cab driver recommended Minds Eye and Im glad he did. I met Alex who helped me choose the perfect tattoo, not too big or too small. He drew it for me so I can say I have an Alex original. Price was reasonable and Ill definitely be recommending him to all my friends. The atmosphere was friendly and the store was very clean and you can be sure that you are getting the best service, and everything is sterile. Im definitely going to be back.

These people are rude and completely insensitive. Their location is right next to the emergency pet center and were setting off firecrackers that could be heard INSIDE the er of the pet center where our animal is very sick. They were asked kindly to not set off any firecrackers as it could be heard inside and were met with a laughing response and told that they would continue to set them off after we left. I certainly wouldnt be paying for any of their services if this is an example of the caliber of people they employ.

I initially went to another tat shop and had a huge piece done, but wasnt the happiest with it so I started researching and saw their work on their webpage, and I was impressed. I had gone in and met Jason, a little standoffish at first but all in all a fantastic artist. I ended up having 2 pieces done by him and I continuously get compliments on the design along with the color. If you want a great tattoo and you live in or around San Antonio I would highly recommend Jason and the crew at Minds Eye Tattoo!

Have 4 tats done by this shop. I have had work done by Jason and Robin. I brought a small 2X2 picture of a phoenix with no detail and Robin drew me an intricate design that takes up roughly 1/4 of my back. Sterile and comfortable environment with professional artists. Robin can seem a bit calloused at first but once you get to know him he is actually a pretty cool guy.

Just left this place and i am more than satisfied with my cover-up! It is going to be highly recommended by us! Shout out to Robin, Butch, his unique "parrot" and the super friendly guy that does piercings, we didnt get his name :( .....fun and friendly environment..very entertaining BUT overall professional work! -coming back next time were in town for my owl!

Ian was SO great with our daughter, taking the time to make sure she was SUPER comfortable and relating to her! He did an awesome job piercing her ears and she said it didnt even hurt! Would recommend Ian and this place to anyone. All of the staff was very polite and nice as well. Thanks Ian, you really made this experience memorable for our daughter!!!!

I went there for the first time today and got a nose piercing for my birthday present. A guy named Rooster pierced me and gave me all the information I needed to take good care of my nose ring. It was the first time Ive been to a tattoo shop and felt welcomed and not completely uncomfortable like I was being judged or something. I would definitely go back.

Kris has done two small custom tattoos for me and I love them both. He is easy to work with and really listens to what you want. I especially appreciate how detail oriented he is and that he takes his time to get the drawing exactly right before doing the tattoo. After a year, my tattoo is still perfect and the color has held up really well.

I witnessed the below situation, their unprofessional behavior was appalling. Who does business with that kind of callous and dismissive attitude? What does that say about how your work will be done here? How you will be treated as a customer, if this is how they behave standing right outside their shop?
