This goodwill has gotten really bad in the recent year.the pricing has gotten wayyyyy out of hand...donating here is like donating to an over priced pawn shop.they have forgotten the simple fact that people donate the items they sell not only for the purpose of being charitable but also to help people who are low on funds be able to afford nicer things and give thrifters a thrill when they find a nice item they would normally not be able to afford for a very great low price.most importantly they get all of these items for FREE!!!!seems like the management at this goodwill thinks everything needs to be priced the same or close to the same prices you can find these items for on ebay and amazon.newsflash when you sell item on ebay or amazon. You are selling to a worldwide audiance so things that typically sell for a lot more then they normally would in a average store.also when when you sell on those sites you have to pay a large amount of the sale price for fees.so the fact they use ebay as their pricing system is an unethical insult to all the customers as well as the people who donate to them.the thing that upsets me the most is the fact that they dont test any of these items throughly.for instance a month ago i bought a stereo from there for 50.00 ebay had it for 60.00 but still decided just to go ahead and buy it since it was in front of me.i got home hook it up and realized it did not function properly.so i attempted to return it to the store.they told me sorry all sales final so now i am stuck with a 50.00 paperweight.i should have spent a few extra bucks and bought it on ebay just to be insured that it would work properly.now if it had only cost 10.00 i would not have been so upset.so all i am saying is you get these items for free so sell them at yard sale prices for the love of god NOT EBAY PRICES

Worst customer service of all the Goodwill stores in Charleston. I went there in Jan to get clothing for a cruise and was looking through the jewelry and as I was setting pieces aside I wanted to buy the cashier went on about a piece she hadnt seen before..it was in my pile and as I looked at the rack she grabbed the one she liked and hung it back up. I of course grabbed it with my other pieces and checked out. I went there again today and got some clothes for my kids and some houseware items. I put the stuff on the counter and left the wares for her to ring up while I took the hangers off the clothing. She grabbed 3 bags and sat them on top of my stuff for me to bag my own clothes and wares! Ive also went into the store before and had no employee in sight and had to to track down someone in the back sorting area to come check me out. I also dropped some items off in the donation area and had an employee take an item I was donating and put it to the side saying he could use that.( It was pellets for an air soft gun)

Good will is Great to work at. Shopping here has it advantage and disadvantages. They dont let you return nothing back.The cost for more expensive items changes to a more expensive price. I feel is wrong, people are donating these items so the price should remain the same. Whether its a target purse or Gucci bag..

Normal goodwill store. Only issue was the stench. It smelled of feces like their sewer was backed up. I made it almost 10 minutes before I had to leave
