Like many who have placed a review about this dealership in the last year or so, I also had a deplorable experience with this dealership. So much to the point where I wonder if the Andy Mohr brand knows what this dealership is doing and the scams they attempt to run on each of their customers. My wife and I went to their dealership based on its location and our possible want for a Mitsubishi Outlander to replace her vehicle which although ran ok, needed some work done that we did not want to invest the money in (I state this due to what I write further down). As soon as we pulled into the lot, their sharks began trolling around our car...at least let us get out of the car and get our child out of his car seat. The salesperson, if you can call him that, seemed pleasant enough but was not knowledgeable about the vehicles outside of what you could read on their website or the information card in each of the vehicles. We looked around, although very uncomfortable because of the apparent closeness our sales rep wanted to be with us, asked a few questions, reviewed what I knew about a basic car set up, and took a test drive in a random Outlander I guess they were having trouble selling; probably because it smelled like a person had slept in the vehicle and did not shower regularly. Mitsubishi makes a decent vehicle, but our intention was to shop around like most who have to deal with the car buying process. As soon as we got back, the sales rep was called into his managers office. Once he came back out, his pleasant demeanor vanished and he was all numbers and closing a sale. We let him give his pitch, but ultimately left without making a purchase. Come a few days later, we recieved calls and texts from the sales rep which was fine but they were not hitting the price point I needed. After haggling back and forth for another few days, we came to an agreement and went back into the dealership. **Side Note** There is a review on here where they discuss the numbers manipulation game; it is absolutely true. The general manager there is really good at it and unless you keep track of the numbers yourself, you will be tricked into an overall higher purchase price. I had to press that point more than once before they realized I had a basic education and relented on their numbers game. Going back to the dealership was a pain. We get there and had to wait for 2 hours. One would think since they knew the sale was going through, they would be more than happy to spend the few pennies to prep the paperwork. During that wait, the sales rep gets up randomly and says he has another appointment and goes off to sale a piece of junk used car. We also saw another sales rep sale a woman a used car with a rusted out door. If you are a named brand dealer and that brand carries beyond their horrible dealership, why would you even allow vehicles on your lot that do not meet a high standard of care? There are auctions out there you can take these clunkers to in order to get your money back. To add to that, the vehicle we traded in as discussed earlier, was given a trade in value of 3000 dollars. Three days later, it is on the lot being sold for 6000 dollars. The work that needed done on that vehicle would have taken longer than 3 days to complete and then to charge double is just shady. I am glad it is still on the lot to this day because I would hate for someone to pay 6000 dollars for that vehicle. We finally signed paperwork and parted ways. We will never purchase a vehicle from this place again nor have the scheduled maintenance done there. If their sales staff is any indication of their overall staff, one can only imagine what nonsense and hassle we would get in the service department. I want it to be made known that Mitsubishi makes a quality car. I still have my 2002 Lancer OZ Rally. Do not be hinder from purchasing a Mitsubishi based on my review; just go to another dealership.

We just left this Mitsubishi dealership. Quite frankly I am shocked at how unhelpful and rude they were. I wish we could give zero stars. We own a 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander. We explained how even though we have taken excellent care of this car, it has been a constant money pit. This week the transmission went out in our car with only 140,000 miles on it. Though it is in good condition, it is now only worth $300 for scrap metal. Other dealerships including two Honda dealerships, have offered us three to $400 for our car. I went into Mitsubishi and politely explained our situation, and they were unsympathetic and borderline rude. I politely asked that they match the money other dealerships have offered us and asked that they will tow our car literally across the street for free. We move out of state in less than a week and cannot just leave our car sitting here. I also explained that I have tried to get a hold of the Mitsubishi customer service relations phone line but they are closed for the holidays. This dealership said there was no one I could talk to at the physical office and they could not provide me with any names or phone numbers of anybody else to contact. They also said the corporate office would do nothing for us. Im surprised, but I guess they do not care about keeping customers. Tom OBrien and Penske Honda have been much more helpful than the actual Mitsubishi dealership. Thankfully we have a 1998 Honda Civic with 220,000 miles that is still running and has cost us less money in repairs in the last seven years than our new Mitsubishi. This confirms we made the right decision to go to a dealership that was more friendly. Ive always been a Honda girl and this confirms that even more. My husband and I would advise staying away from this deal and Mitsubishis in general. Their cars are not quality and their customer service has been terrible. Im a counselor, I know how to talk to people and was very polite and more than reasonable. These salesman and service men were not friendly and were also whispering and smirking to one another. Its worth it to pay more for a brand that will go the distance. They only offered to give us some money if we bought a car from them. When they learned we already bought a Honda and we politely explained we had no interest in purchasing a Mitsubishi, they really shut us down. This Outlander has had the A/C break twice, the windows will not stay on track, the hatchback broke, electrical issues with power adaptor and Bluetooth, the tie rod almost snapped-which is very dangerous for anyone, especially a family with a 6-month pregnant mom with a 15 month old. Thankfully we took a small squeaking noise seriously and got it into a mechanic before it snapped. Again, we have spent less on a 18 year old Honda Civic with 220,000+ miles since buying a brand new Mitsubishi. So why would we buy another Mitsubishi especially after such poor customer service?

My experience at Andy Mohr Mitsubishi went fine until the final conversation of discussing the financing of the vehicle I wanted to buy. I am new to purchasing a vehicle and have done extensive research/asked my family for advice on what to do when buying a vehicle. I knew the car I wanted and Andy Mohr had a vehicle that hit all my criteria - it was out of my budget, but the miles were low, so that was ok. I was hoping to negotiate on the price, but they had a no haggle price. We were able to drive the vehicle around for a day and that was such a huge perk! We loved the car, but it did seem to ride a little rough, which worried us. When we brought the vehicle back we started to talk about the price. I had already gotten pre-approved through my bank, Chase, with a 3% loan (60 month term). The salesman told me that they could probably get me a better rate and asked if it was ok if they went ahead and checked my credit. After I said yes, they came back to me with a higher interest rate and a longer term loan (4.14% for 84 months). My issue was they kept on focusing on the monthly payment amount and getting me under what I wanted to pay per month. I kept telling them - I was focused on the overall cost of the vehicle. They had some fees (etching fee, documenting fee and title fee) which I had to ask them to itemize out that cost so I could see how we got to the total number. When I asked what the etching fee was...the salesman could not explain it - basically a hidden $299 fee! After much going back and forth with the salesman walking back to his GMs office, Bill Richardson, we finally got to a point where we were not getting anywhere. They had gotten me a loan with a HIGHER interest rate and LONGER term in order to get me under $320/month. I finally said I have my loan (with a better interest rate) and some cash to pay for the vehicle and if they werent going to negotiate on price, then I was walking - because all I care about is TOTAL cost of the vehicle - not the financing. Bill Richardson came out of his office to speak with me about the vehicle and the loan he got for me. I am a female by myself and I honestly think he was trying to take advantage of me. He kept saying that we needed to CELEBRATE this loan and that I probably wont get a better rate anywhere else. I couldnt stand that they kept pressing their finance loan. He really did not care about me as an individual. He was a slimy used car salesman and I could not believe the way he was trying to "guilt" me into buying the vehicle. Needless to say - I bought the EXACT same vehicle from CarMax for a little less than what Andy Mohr Mitsubishi wanted and I got a 1.9% auto loan through Indiana Members Credit Union! I wouldnt buy a car from them - I dont think they sell cars with integrity.
