I was excited to go to the store because I read good reviews about it. Unfortunately when I asked for the restroom, the two men from the Deli department started laughing and took them a long time to tell me where it is. So, I asked them "whats so funny?". I am a disabled lady and they do not care. Still, they did not tell me where it is.. I have to go to the front and ask the cashier again. He did not tell me again where it is and told me to ask the men in the DELI area. Disgusted about their reaction, I had to find it myself and go to the rear part of the deli where the restroom was. It was clean, thank God. But when I was inside, the hispanic guy who works there suddenly knocked on the door so I opened it and found out that he just wanted to get something inside. I thought that he wanted to use the restroom. These guys made fun of me even though I am a disabled person. They dont have any respect for "older" customer, and its really sad. Even though their products are desirable and unique .... whats the use if their personalities are rotten!-COLLAPSE (by Ada Cerna, updated May 10, 2010)

Awesome selection of different products from Eastern Europe. Shelves are organized by food type, but also by country of origin, so youll need to know that extra detail if youre looking for a specific product. Even if youre not sure, staff here is friendly, knowledgeable and will gladly help you. Great selection of cheeses (youll discover feta cheese types you didnt know exist), cold cuts, olives, olive oils and bread. Go all the way in the back of the store for big, but really big beer selection. Modern pop music from East Europe is coming from the speakers here, so that might be awkward at times.

I bought some snacks at this place and when i got to my car I found one of them expired 4 months ago. I took it back. The clerk told me to get another and I found that all of them were expired. He gave me a refund but did nothing to take the merchandise off the shelf. When I got home I found another snack I got expired 6 months ago and another was about to expire. I heard similar stories from other friends with similar experience. The owner does not seam to care to check his merchandise or may be buying it expire.

Great selection of international brand foods with wide aisles that make moving around easy. Could use better organisation as the same kind of items were scattered about with no apparent group by nationality or food type. Horrid music that blasts makes shopping unpleasant... why not play international music at normal decibels. This is not a night club. Prices vary... Found some bargains and shied away from others. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Horrible service. Overpriced. If they are going to overcharge me for everything you gotta match it with service. I go there for their European deodorants. If Im going to get horrible service why go there from Manhattan when I can order it online. This was already the 5th time this happens. And they wonder why people prefer Amazon. Never again.

To make a Frappe, Greek Nescafe instant coffee is necessary; I walked into this store late at night trying to top a visit to Astoria with a restocking of my Nescafe bin at home. This convenience store had it, and also had a huge array of every European grocery item imaginable; a giant olive bar; even Cypriot grills for souvla.

So far this has been the best stocked place when it comes to items from ex-Yugoslavia, such as Vegeta, various preserves and marmalades, spices, smoki, chocolates, candy, juices, meats... They even have a plazma keks knock off which tastes pretty much like plazma... Great place to shop.

The kingdom of cold cuts and cheese. The place is much better than a traditional supermarket. The lights are soft and is not too big. Fresh mozzarella taste like Italian one, olive oil is awesome and there are all the ingredients for Italian and Greek cuisine. Best place in Astoria

Best place I know in NY. After 2years not beeing in Germany I almost started crying in that store. You can even order things they dont carry. they have for example knoppers, kinderschokolade, dr oetker products, milka, balisto, mars, kinder pinguin, mehl 405, etc... Love it!

Great selection of cheeses, cold cuts, and olives. Prices are way lower than other similar stores (compare to Arthur Ave market in The Bronx or similar stores in Queens). Wide selections of imported foods. The taste of home for all Balkan Peninsula immigrants.

They are open late and have lots of stuff you cant find elsewhere which is great. They are a bit pricey so I often just buy hard to find items and go for regular stuff elsewhere. I wish they would get larger selection of Balkan cheeses (fresh primarily).

I just love this place! For me, they have a very wide ranging selection of cured meats, great honeys, decent chocolate - more on offer than any comparable store in the neighborhood. Lots of good beers and dry pastas. What more do you want?

This would be my one stop shop if they had a larger produce section. Thye have many specialty items from Greece, Croatia, Poland, Italy and more. Its dried meat/cheese and olive selection is phenomenal. Staff is very friendly.

I love this place! There are so many things here that I havent been able to find in other stores -- esp Eastern European food products. Also has a huge cheese, olives and cured meats section.

The deli here is great, get them to make you a sandwich! Many items in this store you wont find elsewhere. I got some great Greek coffee here.
