Save your time and money and shop elsewhere. Salvation Army, previously a cool thrift store with a lot of inventory to chose from, now prices their items so high that it will make your head spin. Im always on the prowl for accent furniture since I have a weirdly shaped apartment, somewhat difficult to furnish. So I keep looking on and off for the magic piece ... Over time, Ive noticed stuff like second-hand IKEA furniture (not the discontinued kind, the kind thats still all over Craigslist) priced *higher* than what it would cost new. Same with certain bathroom items, kitchen trinkets, dishes, toys ... Definitely not an isolated incident. Sometimes they leave the tag from the previous store and put theirs right on top, so you know youre not dreaming. I would understand if the items in question were highly desirable - think antique or even vintage, or stuff sought-after by collectors or if the objects were second-hand from pricey stores to begin with, but nope, they indiscriminately price stuff from Ross, Target, or Bed Bath & Beyond higher than what you would have to pay in those places for the item in new condition. Once in a while, you will get lucky and find something cool, at an fair price. Or something really cool that deserves its high asking price. But this seems to be the exception rather than the rule lately. I am probably not the only one to have noticed the high pricing since every time I drive past or go inside, theyre incredibly slow. Not sure how long they plan on staying in business if they keep up with this practice.

Theyre killing their business with the high prices. They obviously dont understand their clientele or business model. They seem to think they can charge antique store prices on everything. Unfortunatel the people who pay those prices dont go to thrift store. The place is packed with stuff because no one is buying

This place is barely okay. The staff is over attentive to the wrong thIngs, like following patrons closely while they shop. The sales prices are lazy and unclear. Lots of clothes if you like digging. The shoes are garbage; literally many are too dirty and too worn to sell. Not worth the visit.

Okay for books, knick knacks, furniture and clothing but you need to remember which is on sale on what day. Selection varies and there really is no organization to the stuff. Electronics are castoffs from God knows when. Browse periodically for fresh inventory.

Lots of great second hand goods. Sometimes you can haggle with them on the prices of furniture, which can be overpriced. Overall a great store. Parking is always tough, though.

Vast selection of mens clothes with the exception of shoes, belts, etc. Im 24, 6ft, male, and around 180 lbs. Your mileage may vary.
