My husband and I just returned from this store in the Marketplace extremely disappointed. Our son attends a Federal Service Academy, USMMA, in New York and just received orders to spend 2 months in Asia. He leaves in 3 days. We wanted to send him some additional money via Western Union. We went to the counter at 7:50 p.m. as the lobby is supposed to be open until 8:00 p.m. We asked the woman with a blue shirt and hair up in a pony tail if Western Union was open. She said, "No. Shes sick." My husband asked if she could help us and she said "no, the paperwork has already been processed for Western Union." I understand people get sick and businesses can be left shorthanded, but what I do not appreciate or will tolerate is this employees UNAPOLOGETIC TONE! There was no "Im sorry Sir for the inconvenience. Our front end employee went home early because she was sick." Her answer was rude. The lobby hours are until 8 p.m. we were there at 7:50 p.m. Thats not our problem, thats bad planning to not cover the shift. Roll the video for proof. I enjoy shopping at that store as Marcos is extremely pleasant and is a fine example of premium customer service that this woman could glean from. Bottom line, if this Vons condones rude employees like the one we encountered tonight, I will be spending my weekly grocery budget elsewhere.

This pharmacy is located in a very nice and convenient location but customer service is aweful! When we drop a prescription to be filled, the pharmacy tells us to wait for 15 minutes but we always end up waiting at least 45 minutes or more. Waiting for 45 minutes with a sick infant for an urgent medication is not acceptable. We also have some prescriptions set up for automatic refills. We would get a phone call from this pharmacy telling us our medication is ready for pick up. Three out of five times when we go here to pick these medications up, it would not be ready or we would only get partial because they run out or their shipment has not arrived. It seems like they have too many customers that they cannot provide great service to. Their Pharmacists are very friendly but it is their technicians and assistant that lack customer service. They do not acknowledge how frustrated you are as a customer but give you more excuses with no apologies. If you have all the time in the world to wait and shop at Vons for your medication, go here. If you need fast and friendly pharmacy service, go somewhere else where they have adequate and friendly staff. We will be transferring all our prescriptions somewhere else!

Not being acknowledged this morning was disappointing. Finally the rep did and invited me over and then it was better. The girls working the Starbucks kiosk this morning were apparently in a bad mood that reflected thier service. No hello, no thank you, whats up with that? Should have gone to mc Donalds, there I expect poor service when ordering my coffee. 8:30 am Sunday 7-9-17.

Love Vons!!!! A over priced but clean and great employees but horrible management. He is so rude and the women too. I think she is a supervisor I dont know. But I applied to work there and the wont hire me because Im Hispanic. Not ok. I love the store but the manager sucks balls. And That stupid lady !!!

Please tell your employees to take time off if they are sick! Service can be slow (except Tracie, shes awesome!!). Produce can be better, deli and cafe is great. Starbucks is WAY too slow and understaffed.
