I used to love thrift city. I usually go on Mondays or Thursdays when they have a 50% off sale. I went on a Saturday so I printed off the $5 off $20 purchase coupon listed on their website. When I first went to the register and handed the young man the coupon he looked confused. He said that I wasnt at thrift city, that was down the road. I went outside and looked at the sign and said yes this is thrift city, the address is even listed on my coupon. He then calls a manager. The manager reads the coupon and then refuses to honor it. I told him my purchase was well over the $20 mark, why wouldnt you you except it? He gives absolutely no explanation and walks away despite my protesting. This was the worst customer service Ive ever reviewed, I could not believe it.

They have lots of clothing options, but non-clothes items make up about 20% of their inventory. The pricing is on par with places like Goodwill and Value Village. The staff seems disinterested, but I didnt have any problems. I like to go thrift shopping for electronics stuff and because of their inventory composition, there was little of value to be found.

I found a Hull bowl of a style that I collect that was clearly marked $1.99, a price that one would expect to pay at a yard sale or thrift store for this type of item. When I took it up to the register to buy it, the clerk told me that it was $4.99. I left without buying anything and I will not be back.

GREAT deals and staff is very friendly, they have good stuff but you have to look. They dont have things in order by size which is the only thing I dont like. Either way I love this place!
