I come to Ptown any chance I can and I usually shop at the East End Market. On this particular occasion, I went into Stop and Shop to pick up a few things. The cashier, Milinca, checked us out. She did not greet me but instead carried on a conversation in her native language the entire time. She did not ask me if I had a stop and shop card or coupons. I purchased a large cooler and some chairs. My wife put the cooler on the belt and she carelessly flipped it over several times looking for the barcode before rolling her eyes and waiting for us to move it to the cart. The same happened when she rang the chairs in. There was also a large puddle of water on the floor that I slipped on and she did not acknowledge that it was there, and that someone else could slip on it and get hurt. This is the problem when large companies come to small towns. Never again!! If I could give this experience no stars I would. Sticking to small businesses from now on in Ptown.

Stop & shop is a great improvement over the grand union. The people are more polite and better trained. The Pharmacy however rates low in customer relations. They are short to the point of being rude. I do not include all the people who work there, but specifically two people who work the counter. I have been misinformed, made wasted trips, and generally been spoken to in a discourteous manner. I will speak with the manager there, but have such a distaste for rudeness that I think I will order my drugs over the internet from now on.

Huge Stop & Shop. Quick check out. Theyve got everything you need. They dont have to be this good. Theyre the only game in town for groceries. Everyone is generally happy. After all, theyre on vacation in Provincetown. Nice cheese selection in this store too.

The bathrooms here are absolutely disgusting... Salad bar is limited with wilted lettuce. It is a convenient location and about the only place to stop for food in Provincetown. A liquor store is located directly across the parking lot as well which makes it a plus.

Here you will literally rub elbows with everybody in town because its that tiny and the isles are that small. But seriously they have everything you need for the week and you meet people from all over the world working upfront. Friendly efficient fun.

One of the largest supermarkets on the upper Cape. Its nice to have the pharmacy included and lots of variation but as the crowds dwindle after the Summer, its hard to keep quality meats and vegetables. Best option for food year round.

Its a standard supermarket with a pharmacy, deli, and a good salad bar. Their prices are on the high end, and the selection is limited compared to their Dennis location. The closest gas station to use their rewards is Wellfleet.

Yes, its just a supermarket, but they have a great assortment of items that your wont find at a regular stop and shop. From duck bacon to Jamaican cock soup mix. Make sure you dont park and walk away from the lot.

Not the top notch selection you can find at the Orleans stop and shop, but still very extensive. Usually a bit busy, but not terribly so. Not difficult to get to, but use GPS if youre unfamiliar in the area.

Standard S&S. Limited seafood department but you can buy lobsters there, have them steamed while you shop. Better tan dining out every night during vacation.

The best shopping store in Provincetown for all our grocery needs. I call it the Shop Rite up north. We shop there for all our food while camping in Truro.

Coming from Virginia, I had sticker shock. However, getting a shoppers card for the store fixed it, and I found some decent seafood I could afford.

Almost always crowded during the high season. Selection varies by visit, with the bounty ebbing & flowing like the tides in Provincetown Harbor.
