This Hannaford is a little smaller than most, so the selection is not as varied as it is in the other stores, however, the pricing is competitive and quality is generally good. The stand behind their products and will refund your money if you are not satisfied with the quality or the shelf life of a product. One big plus is that there is no loyalty card program - everyone gets the same lower prices on sale items.

Some things I like about the store are that it is convenient to my north Scarborough home and badly needed in the area, and I like its small size because it makes finding items a lot easier for me than in the huge stores. I do find that there is a consistent issue however with the freshness of the produce, sometimes necessitating me to travel to a competitor in order to find adequate quality.

5:30 pm, lots of people there, only 1 reg and 1 /14 item checkouts open each with a bagger. Line was several deep. They opened 1 more aisle for 5 minutes. How about opening a couple more " bag your own " aisles? Im not proud. Id gladly bag my items to help speed things up.

This hannaford always seems to never have what I want, and if that wasnt bad enough their checkout is the most unorganised and time consuming Ive ever seen. I drive 15 miles out of my way to a different grocery to avoid this place

Easy to find items, customer service is excellent, its only 2.7 miles from my house, prices are usually better than Wal-Mart, with a few exceptions, e.g. cat food and cat litter, and several non-food items

Horrible about keeping reasonably priced gluten free products. If you find a GF item here, dont get too attached. Go to Market Basket in Biddeford. Worth the drive.
