Everything that is shiny and new is always nice, however do not attempt to shop on a Sunday, the place is crazy. I was really excited to get this new store as people were saying they save lots of money each week on groceries. The deli has this really nce lady working in the morning, she is so nice all the time! Not sure I see those savings, it seems like the competitors are lowering prices which is a plus for me. The deli has this really nice lady working in the morning, she is so nice all the time! So, two trips, two mistakes on my order, one in my favor the other in theirs. Negative...I went to the 12 or less with a cart that looked full because of large items. As I turned in I saw the young male cashier look at my cart then give me the eye roll. I approached and said, no need for an eye roll it really only is 12 items. Well I was wrong, my 4 limes in a plastic bag, 4 for $1 counts as 4. Did you know that? So I guess the eye roll was deserved. He must have known as his tag said 4 years experience.

For years I have gone to many Demoulas and Market baskets. I found that you had always had a big selection of my favorite soda: Waist Watchers in cans with Splenda. Recently, I was ecstatic to find that Market basket was opening in Plymouth, 2 miles from my Kingston home. I went to the local Market Basket today and was told that you have discontinued Waist Watcher soda in cans and only have 2 liters bottles. For many of us who cannot use Aspartame, this soda was a godsend. You have also discontinued Diet Rite cola, another non aspartame product. with Splenda. I cannot go to more than one market for my daily shopping and as such I will be going to Stop and Shop from now on. I have found that you have removed many brand name items and instead have increased your Market Basket brand name goods. Ultimately you will find that this is not a sound business decision. You will join A and P and others who have gone down this path before. Barry P. Fisher MD

First time there- 20 plus year Plymouth resident. We ended up abandoning the cart mid groceries aisle. Deli person , older gentleman with glasses, extremely unfriendly and not wiling to give guidance and the best selection of sliced ham. While shopping for gourmet cheeses selections, we were subject to listening to a sample representatives lament about the unfairness of life while on a "hot mike". At first slightly amusing, but after listening to her disparaging and candid remarks; we put back the cheese selections. The aftermath of the treatment by both the offending parties could not be assuaged by even the kindest young lady at customer service. We left. and will not be back again on this fools errand.

I do not live close to a Market Basket but have heard only good reviews. The other day I was approximately 20 minutes away from the Plymouth store, I needed to go grocery shopping and I really wanted to try Market Basket. What an amazing store!! Wide aisles and every kind of item times 2. Fresh fruit and vegetables(seemed like they were just picked). Meats and fish so fresh. Everything displayed for pleasing eye appeal. Most importantly was the prices. Just amazing. Clean. Friendly employees. This store is everything that I heard and more. I will definitely go out of my way to shop there.

I grew up here in New England and Stop & Shop is what Im used to so my first time at Market Basket was a little jarring. The layout is completely different so I got lost easily. It took me 5 days to find my way back out. Luckily, I was able to locate the employee break room where there is a water fountain that I was able to use to stay hydrated after I spent all my money on marshmallows and nacho cheese... Which I ate off the floor in the produce section. The freezer section was nice to sleep in because I do prefer to sleep in a cool environment. Great selection of prepared foods.

Love Market Basket prices. Unfortunately staff is more in the way than helpful at this store. Everytime I visit staff are stocking and arranging shelves in multiple isles, which is great however staff are not attentive to the surrounding customers. They make you feel as if you are in the way of them doing their job. Also the Deli is poorly run, staffing issue as well. Also most times when checking out the bagger is not aware of the proper placement of more delicate items. All in all I still go to Market Basket, however I am not excited to go.

I live in NYC, so my experience with grocery stores can be considered in that light. This Market Basket was a dream filled with coffee tastings, fresh squeezed orange juice, Galangal ginger, halloumi cheese and more. The selection was stunning, check out efficient and prices were spot on. This will be the place to beat when we visit the South Shore. I am so pleased this location is so close by and parking plentiful.

This grocery store is absolutely fabulous. Staff are great, food is fresh, store is clean but a little hard to find things because it is not set up like your average grocery store. Prices are great in comparison to other grocery stores in the area. Its nice to have employees that are kind, polite, and respectful. They also wear suite types clothing which brings an old fashioned appeal to the store.

I usually love it but I bought a red onion today and when I went to use it it was rotten inside. Ive had it happen before with fruit. I was really looking forward to having a store with quality produce but it looks like they rating up there with Stop&Shop and Shaws. I hope they will get a handle on the issue and things will improve.

I love their pizza! In the Market Basket Kitchen they make your pizza to order. They handstretch their own dough into a huge 16 inch "New York Style" pizza for $8.99! Add your choice of toppings for $1 each. Or just grab a slice which is actually 1/4 of a 16 in. pizza for as little as $2.50 for cheese. Crazy!

Nice grocery store, has a positive feel to it, and the staff are all very nice. I love the uniforms for the staff, as everyone working there has color coordinated suits giving the store a nice feel. Its a good place to try out, and offers a different variety of food unlike some other big chain grocery stores.

Ive been to several market Basket locations and there all pretty much the same but the Plymouth location is less hectic. parking lot is still crowded but theres no one waiting behind you to leave your parking space. There are actually hand baskets at the door so its nice not having to hunt for one.
