I live downtown where there are no Wincos but it is worth the 45 minutes to hour travel time, even gas, because I save more than that getting my groceries there. And the produce is always so fresh and at half or even less than the wilty, limp or less fresh veggies and fruits at, for example, Safeway at at least twice the cost. The only produce I take exception to at Winco is that they switched from Fresh Express to Dole - like Safeway and other stores, and it can start turning liquid in as few as 2 days whereas Fresh Express stays fresh in its unopened bags for a week so I can buy 4 bags each week. It does need to be eaten in 2-3 days, once opened, but the Dole can turn liquid without ever being opened. Wish theyd go back to decent salad and start selling Fresh Express, again so I dont have to go separately, just for my Fresh Express, to Food Source clear on the OTHER side of town. The people who work at Winco are all always so nice - from the people in customer service to the produce and meat departments to the rest of the store and the cashiers. They really take pride in their store and Ive learned its because the people who work there all are a kind of owner. They take pride in what they do, just like all Americans used to do back in the day. God. I just dated myself. I LOVE Winco. Now just replace all those benches, both inside and out, so all us old folks and disabled have a place to sit while we wait for our rides or pack up, bungicord down, all our bags of groceries onto our walkers, wheelchairs and scooters - PLEASE. And put the pizza back in all the stores, while youre at it. That is/was the best pizza ever, better than all those other places combined. - Well, maybe a tie with Murphies. Thanks, Winco, for all you do so we can afford to buy decent, healthy food on a very limited income!

I spent $11.31 for two packages of "SUPREME STEW MEAT" - what I got were little itty bitty pieces, most of which was scrap meat. Out of those two packages only 1/2 pound was decent meat - the rest was fat, tiny bits or meat that were added for weight instead of being discarded. It was like this was the last of the meat so he just scrapped them into these two packages, put larger pieces on top and wrapped them in plastic. This is ridiculous when I am charged $4.68 per pound for pieces that are going to disintegrate as soon as I begin cooking them. What a disgrace - I have been shopping at this store since it opened - and this is the first time I am disappointed in their meat. This isnt even worth one star - but couldnt post without - this is a travesty. One other thing...I would like to request that the lettuce be taken out of the plastic bags - the plastic causes the lettuce to sweat and be all slimy; by the time it is purchased, half of it must be thrown away - We always have to buy our lettuce elsewhere or the pre-packaged ones. And just so this is not a total negative - the employees (cashiers and floor personnel) are incredible - they will absolutely assist in any way possible - which is the main reason we come back to do most of our shopping.

I loved the store some family members worked here too. Great prices and great bulk selections. UNTIL I had an incident where I was busy in the mix and accidentally threw a small $.99 hand sanitizer on top of my purse. And when I went and grabbed my phone somehow fell in farther. Moral of story I got in trouble for "Stealing" & I know that i did have the right to not sign the papers & stick up to myself to the Police if they called but I had just had my 1st baby 4 days before & had really bad Post Partum Depression at that time so i did not want to deal w it. I had told Security that I would pay for it & that I genuinely did not mean to do it. but the HOLE time they were just laughing & digging through my other groceries i had boughten & making bad remarks about me. A few days later i heard from one of there employees that the Girl & Male Security were bragging about it & still laughing about the situation & making fun of me. Ive shopped here since I was in Middle School. I know I personally could of handled it more strict but I had literally just had a baby & i told them that.

At the uncrowded hours of the night hours I can easily do a couple hours of Physical Therapy as love to push my cart back and forth across the store as I shop blindly here and there and back and forth all the while barely being seen (although definitely heard) as I roll through the rows and stacks of boxes, pallets, restocking items everywhere BUT NEVER EVER BLOCKING ANYWHERE OR ANYTHING WHERE I COULDNT FIT MY CART THROUGH!! I enjoy being around, and have great respect for, these SUPER COMPETENT PROFESSIONAL ELITE GROUP OF SUPER WINCO WORKERS WHO DO SUCH AN INCREDIBLE AMOUNT OF WHAT THEY DO IN SUCH A SHORT TIME DAILY!! (Nightly) FYI: the worlds latest, most advanced, baggies for produce and bins are, as far as I can tell, introduced to the world at WINCO. Plastic bags that are so easy to open as they actually OPEN THEMSELVES is old news at Winco where I first noticed them over a year ago. WINCO ROCKS!! I like to cool off at times in the cooler.

You should know of their hitla tactics. They stock stuff at distribution centers right? Its their stuff there no other way. They order it. I was one of the people who took their load to deliver to them. Normally this is a favor you do to whomever hired you even though you are getting reasonably paid. Guess what when i delivered, I was denied an unload for free. Its their stuff I should not pay for them unloading it. They forced me pay for unload. And very very steep money... I was broken why did I take their load to deliver? If I pay this unload fee whats left for my family..? I have a pallet jack, I was willing to unload it. Guess what they prohibited me from entering the warehouse and denied any trying to unload it. I was forced to pay the fee for them unloading it that decimated my income. Shady elusive liar company, unfair and dishonest, does it in a way groceries consumer not to know. Shame, shame, shame

The employees at this store actually renewed my faith in humanity! I lost my wallet on a Friday evening and live over 50 miles from Antelope. It wasnt until late that night I realized it and tried calling a couple other stores I had been to but nothing was turned in. Eight oclock a.m. I got a call from AAA saying that my wallet was found at Winco and they had gone out of their way to connect so I could recover it. I called and set it up so my ex who lives nearby could pick it up. EVERYTHING was accounted for including over $500 cash! Not only that there was a bad storm and it was found in the parking lot drenched. They dried out everything even the money so nothing was ruined. Truly above and beyond :-) <3
