This is my store. I know where everything is. And most everybody is willing to help you find something. I do love their Friday half price for $5 meat and cheese selections in the deli but dont always have them. I do not like they got rid of the 3 is a crowd and they will open another check stand policy. I know most people in the store by first name. I do like their discounts when you use your Club card or your app. However their base price is quite High compared to other stores. And I only have had to walk out with a full cart of groceries because of three checks Dans being open with over 15 people in each line. I do like their gas rewards and bonuses and certain situations. My wife is handicapped and finds it very difficult sometimes to find a writing cart. But more of a problem they put too many promo boxes deals displays in the middle of the aisle when youre trying to find something that is behind them. I do wish to recognize a bunch of people by name that have been outstanding in customer service politeness and willingness to help. Starting with the Deli would have to be Alice and Francine youre always there to help and carry on a nice repertoire. In produce there is a bunch of guys that are very helpful I feel bad I cant remember their names off hand but Sheri home is an awesome helper and very loving and helpful and caring person about anything. Dave the senior morning cashier I look forward to seeing most mornings when I have to go in at 5 in the morning the management team Isabel and blonde lady I I do not recall her name even this is a good Raiders fan too. During the afternoon there is an outstanding woman and hard worker named cashmere who mental health every customer that helps her staff immensely. Also since Ive had to put my prescriptions at Safeway there is a great Pharmacy crew but there is a young lady name Jeannie who is always looking out for my prescriptions when theyre new and having them ready and always looking out for my best interest, she is very valuable asset. I regret leaving lots of people out but I hope this enhances your shopping experience

I ordered groceries to be delivered to my home between 2 and 3 pm on a Sunday. The driver showed up at 1 pm, when I wasnt home and called me on my cell phone telling me that since I wasnt there he was leaving and wouldnt be delivering the groceries to me. When I got home around 1:20 I called their "customer service" department -- which did absolutely nothing... Then about 20 minutes later, I got a notice from my bank informing me that Safeway had charged my credit card over $167 for the groceries they refused to deliver to me... Its been three days, and they STILL havent issued a refund... So first they send someone to my house who cant tell time, then they refuse to resolve THEIR mistake, and then they have the gall to, in effect, pick my pocket. I will never do business with these people again.

Dirty, empty shelves, not enough staff, produce always destroyed. Every time I go there I am disappointed, feel like they could be much better. The staff is wonderful, but the company is horrible. They dont put enough people on staff at any given point and theres never enough food on the shelves or enough people to help. They have a huge produce department, and dont ever seem to have even a single person dedicated to produce. If you live nearby dont even think about ordering online. The idiots who pick the produce and the other food dont know what theyre doing and you end up with stuff you never even ordered and not the stuff you did. The staff has actually begged me to complain to the corporate office because they dont have enough support. Bottom line, drive across the street to Bel Air.

I was at self checkout bought my milk took $60 cash back. Walked outside the store came back in and another lady was at the same checkout already. I asked the lady "hey did you happen to find $60 here" she said "no but a mother wearing this and a boy wearing glasses were here talking about finding money." I walked the store found the boy and his mom checking out in a cashier line and I said "excuse me did you guys find that $60 at self checkout" they both froze and looked at another...BUSTED. They continued to deny. BUSTED. I would of made my kids turn in that money out the machine to the cashier. Long story short. Called store and Ashley (assistant mgr) gave my $ back. GOOD BUSINESS ASHLEY!!!!!!

My family and I go to the Laguna/Franklin Safeway at least once a day. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful and the store is very clean and organized. Our latest experience was this week when it was my birthday. My girlfriend wanted to surprise me with my favorite pie (Lemon Merangue) but the store had sold all of the pies the bakery had recently made. My girlfriend spoke with Miriam in the bakery department on Monday to see if a pie could be specially ordered and Miriam made sure more pies were made the following morning. The staff went above and beyond what I expected and it made my birthday even more special. A big THANK YOU to the Safeway bakery staff!

Unable to reach a bakery employee on 12/16/2015 between 2PM and 5:30 PM. I would call, press the button to go to bakery, hold, go through the phone loop, hold, get transferred, hold, get sent to the start of the phone tree, press the button to go to bakery... you get the point. I have the phone on speaker while doing this. I made 5 attempts during the above listed times. No luck. Was ordering for a corporate event. We needed lots of pie for a pie eating contest and employee take home gift. Decided to call the Bel Air store. Phone was answered on 2nd ring by a live person, transferred to the bakery and the call was picked up in 3 seconds.

35 mins in a deli line (only one person ahead of me) and then cashier? Redicilous. Lines were backed up to the aisles. Only positive things out of this experience, was the sushi! Yum great sushi here! The other stuff like chow mein tastes NASTY. It smelled like an old home or dusty, and tasted like it too couldnt give it to the kids. Cant wait to be back home in my local Safeway. This one needs a necessary inspection:(

I ordered my daughters moana cake over a month ago and they lost her little cake toys. I was super upset because my three year old made a special request for Moana cake. And my daughter went to the store and picked out her own cake. Luckily they saved the day by getting the toy from the Calvin store. During the pick up time, the bakery person tells me the toys are not there. Again I had to go through the stress.

They have everything you need, quality on everything, I always take my mom here to do her grocery shopping, to get her medicines at their farmacy, and always eat there every time we visit the store, we usually get the $9.99 Chinese package deal. It comes with 2 choice of main entrees, chow main & fried rice and 2 egg rolls. Very good food. Everybody is very friendly and treat you with respect. I love Safeway!
