My boyfriend and I bought a $1400 bedframe with drawers and a headboard from Wg&rs and then moved to Washington - supposedly the guys "checked" it for flaws before they re-boxed it and we took it home. We believed them, and took it in our POD all the way across the country. We were told that due to the distance of our move, WG&Rs normal return policy and/or guarantee wouldnt apply. Upon unpacking in our new apartment, we found that several of the components of the bed were broken, specifically dealing with the drawers. Part of the laminate (yes, laminate!) wood behind the drawers had peeled off and been shoddily repaired with wood filler. The wood filler hadnt even been sanded- it was lumpy and obviously done very quickly. One of the metal drawer pulls was scraped down to the steel below, as if cut by a saw. One of the drawers metal tracks broke right off of the bottom due to cheap screws and poor placement - the composite wood broke, leaving the track hanging off the drawer and preventing the drawer from being opened. In full, we paid a good chunk of money for what we expected to be a quality oakwood product, with "some" laminated composite; instead, we got a shoddy, cheap, All-American wood composite with the rare plank of hardwood and several cheaply repaired flaws. Clearly they thought since we were moving out of the state we wouldnt be able to retaliate. The quality of the product at WG&Rs leaves much to be desired for the prices they advertise! We could probably have gotten a better product at IKEA.

I am very disappointed with the furniture quality from WG&R. I thought spending $1500 on a couch and chair would insure a better quality set but I was way wrong. We have only had our set for 1 year and 2 months back the cushion already tore from the back of our chair. Vacuuming under my couch cushions today I also noticed the lining that has the velcro for our cushions is all ripped from the back of the couch. The back cushions themselves have started ripping from the bottom of the couch and have become so flat and lumpy, as well as our cushions, it looks ridiculous. When delivered to us (for xtra charge) the movers ripped couch somewhere as well but never could find where. I also purchased the furniture guard insuarance and tried to use it 1x. I called and left a message; received a call back 5 days later which I missed. Then called back left another message and received no further communication. I am extremely let down by this set, I purchased a set from a furniture clearance center 8 years ago and lasted through 3 little kids, cats and a lot of abuse up until this set for half the price I paid from WG&R. I will NEVER buy or recommend furniture from WGR; which is very disappointing as we actually have a card from here too. Lessons learned the hard way I guess!

Compared prices for a particular furniture set to other stores in fox valley and WG&R had the best price by a couple of hundred dollars. Nice clean store and friendly workers. Delivery guys did a great job also. They noticed that one of legs were cracked when moving the couch, so they took it off, took pictures and within a few weeks I had a new leg. Great customer service and again great delivery guys. I will shop there again for sure.

I am a customer of WG&R, but the paticular item I called for assistance about I did not purchase there but they do sell that brand, and they were anything but helpful and the only concern they had was where I bought the product as soon as I said not there I was out of luck. Nice to know how they treat everyone. Hope they find other customers because I wont be back.

I bought a mattress and head and foot board set from WG&R and love it! the price was fair and the furniture is great quality! will be shopping for a new couch with WG&R soon!

They have the worst service and after two faulty mattresses they made us wait for over a week to get our money back, so we had nothing to sleep on.

My grandparents dont buy furniture anywhere but WG&R. They fixed a broken spring in my grandfathers 4 year old recliner for no charge.
