I bought an electirc golf cart from Pocono Motorsports two weeks later the batteries were dead. They gave me attitude when I called them to fix it. They replaced the used batteries with USED batteries...When I bought it originally, I asked them if the batteries were good and they said yes. The cart would drive for maybe 2 miles and then go dead. One year later, the batteries were all dead. They tried to blame it on me saying I didnt charge them properly.... I said ok how much to replace the batteries, they wanted to charge me some crazy amount to replace all the batteries. When I questioned them on the price, they said they were giving me them at their cost-what a croc. When I checked elsewhere I could have gotten them $250 cheaper. When I finally had enough of them, I told them to just give me the cart back and then they charged me $75 for service( telling me the batteries were dead). They tried to sell me another cart too, saying they would give me a good deal because the other one didnt work out. That was bull too. I checked prices at another dealer and ended up buying from a place in Scranton. These guys are not good business men and I would never buy anything from them again. This transaction with them cost me about 3k because when I went to trade in the cart I bought from them, the other dealer didnt even want it and said it had some electrical problems, I settled on about 25% trade on the original cart.

Bought a 2013 Polaris Ranger 400 and at 50 hours changed the oil, air filter, transmission fluid and air filter with OEM parts (paid through the nose for these). No problems. After 100 hours of granny driving, the POS just quit. I had Pocono Motorsports pick it up to see what was wrong and John (service) told me it was hydrolocked with 2 quarts of extra fluid in the oil crankcase. Pistons were scored and the cylinders were badly scored. He filed a complaint with Polaris but told them that there was only a "coffee cup" extra fluid in the crankcase. I called Polaris customer service to check on the complaint after two weeks of getting nowhere. They said that the damage was due to operator issues of undefiled oil! Jerks at customer service know only one response "operator error". Now I am faced with a bill for $5500 for just parts to fix a $9000 machine. NEVER BUY ONE OF THESE PIECES OF JUNK!!!! Do your homework. There is a reason why Polaris has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. The web is full of descriptions where these POSs fall apart, spontaneously catch fire and otherwise just die. They are cheap machines that are cheaply built to get your money and promptly fall apart. Also, dont buy anything from Pocono Motorsports. They are a rip-off joint that lie to you to get you off their back. Even their service chief says that Polaris machines are junk but people still buy them.

My WORST customer experience EVER. The owner, Lance, is a shifty, humorless snake. We bought a golf cart (new) from Pocono Motorsports, and for many years we paid hundreds of dollars each year to have them pickup, store, and then deliver the cart once the warm starts. My handicapped mother-in-law depends on the cart to get out of the house for her summer in the Poconos each year. This year, the owner told us we needed a new cart. Although the cart was old, this likely is the last year my mother-in-law would likely be able to make use the cart, so we decided we’d try to get one more year out of the cart. When Lance learned we weren’t going to buy a new cart, he was rude and dismissive and he dropped us like rock. Even though he was paid, he would not deliver the cart. After 3 weeks of unsuccessfully pleading with Pocono Motor Sports to deliver the cart so my mother-in-law wouldn’t be housebound, we gave up and contracted someone outside to pickup the cart. When they picked the cart up, the batteries were dead (they had not been maintained as is contracted), and there was flat tire. Not only that, they refused to give the key! Save yourself the headache and don’t patronize this sleazy place. (Even the counter help was evasive and rude.) One star is way to many!

I know there are a lot of negative reviews posted but I have a great story to tell. I purchased a used electric golf cart in November 2014. Lance agreed to store it free over the winter and deliver it in the spring with new batteries and fully functional. It was delivered to our vacation home in May 2015 fully charged with new batteries and a charger. We used it on weekends until it showed it needed a charge, and put it on the charger overnight. We came back for a weeks vacation in July and it ran for a while and ran low so we charged it again before we went home. During our August vacation the same thing happened, twice. I called, spoke with John who agreed to pick it up and look at it. Thinking it was the solenoid he called me to tell me that it was not but rather the charger unit they gave me/ It was the one that they got from the customer who traded it it. I asked John who was responsible for the charger since I was sold a unit in good working order and expected the charger to be part of that plan. He told me that I would get a new charger at no cost to me. The cart was returned to us yesterday with a new state of the art charger and runs great. I dont care what others might say, I am satisfied with the team at Pocono Motorsports.

The service department is a complete rip-off. first they charged me $500 to have a basic service on both of my kodiaks 450, oil change, install my own spark plugs and air filters and adjust brakes on both bikes. When I picked up my bikes I told Brad Stout that they were way too tight. He told me they needed to brake in. So when my left rear wheel when on fire and started smoking, I was wondering if they were still breaking in. I brought my bikes back to recheck them and 3 weeks go by without a phone call. Every time I call they are either closed or Brad Stout is not there. Left messages for the owner Lance Mirkin and he will not return my calls. Some guy named Jimmy could care less about my situation and cannot tell me when I can speak to Brad or Lance. They replaced my caliper and brake pads on one of the bikes and they are trying to charge me for it even when their mechanics screwed up the brakes and over tightened them. This is probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I will never do business with them again or recommend them to anyone. This is probably why all the times I have been there to buy parts I have never seen another customer inside the store.

To anyone reading this: NEVER take your recreational vehicles to Pocono motor sports. I took my 2008 artic cat to them last week to be checked out. I had work done to it & I wanted to be sure it was in good running condition before I took it out. I didnt tell them that I just had work done on it. the atv ran fine when I took it there. later that day, Jr called & told me my atv was smoking like hell. he said Todd worked on it & the carb was really gummed up & it was all cleaned. then they told me I need rings, gaskets, head valvues, seats, sleeves & cylinder block. well, that was a bunch of BS because all those parts are what I just had replaced! I told them thats BS because I just had those parts replaced & Jr told me they had my bike all torn apart & the cost was already $385. so I told them I am coming to pick it up. when I got it home I could see that it wasnt torn apart at all. and the reason it was smoking was because they dropped a screw in my carb & now its going to cost me around $1500 for parts those assholes screwed up by running it with the screw in it. These guys dont know what the hell theyre doing. Pocono motor sports needs to be shut down before they rip anyone else off.
