Mike works the front desk, and from the moment I called, he came off as really personable, kind and professional. I came in for a simple oil change on a 2015 Yamaha R3. I left with a $90 bill (AFTER a... generous... 20% discount). I was charged an hour of labor because "the oil filter was on too tight". Perhaps that was the case, but needless to say, I was not expecting to pay 2-3x the cost of any other oil change Id ever had before, on my car or bike. As I was leaving, I noticed my oil light continued to flash. When I mentioned it, the mechanic fixed it (with the assistance of a helpful YouTube video :/) and I went about my day. I have full confidence that these guys know their way around motorcycles... todays experience simply made me wonder if that knowledge extends to newer models. Let me be clear, in no way am I bashing this business or intentionally deterring anyone from going here for work. I am simply sharing my experience. Given an older model bike, I wouldnt hesitate to return for repeat business (hence why I rated them as average, all things considered).

Just took advantage of the warm weather to get new tires, battery, etc. Under new ownership. John is still there as the more than capable mechanic. Mike handles the business. It looks like a good marriage. Mike was personable and attentive. Work was completed extremely fast. My powder coated rims survived the tire change to my relief. Communication was excellent. Everything was above board. It was a different experience than I had across town. Im pulling for these guys and will definitely use them moving forward.

Purchased my first motorcycle here. The owner Mike was very helpful and had a wealth of knowledge. He didnt hesitate to answer any of my questions regarding bike maintenance and safety. I also met the shop mechanic John who works on the bikes. He went over my bike with me several times and made sure I was comfortable with everything before I made my purchase. Overall Im very satisfied. Mike and John are down to earth guys, Ill definitely return for all my bike needs and will recommend others.

Have an older BMW rt1100, It was getting new brakes pads at another bike shop on rte 30 in Frazier When they were testingleeding it the front brake line burst. They wanted an outrageous labor charge to do repair using a line kit that I had to find and order for it. Well no thanks, called Chester Cycle, they picked it up and fixed it at 13 of what other shop wanted. Will bring it to them for all future service. John "knows his stuff" , they have a well deserved good reputation.

I cant thank these guys enough for going above and beyond to help me get the parts I NEEDED for my bike with a price match for almost all parts. Double and triple checked my bike even before ordering parts for it (and next day at that!!). They arent specialists on my euro sport bike in particular but seem to know their way around any bike, plus they beat the hassle and prices of a dealership 100%. I would recommend any friends and family to bring their cycles here.

I have given John a few jobs on my VFR. Basics like tires up to a rear rotor swap. I gave him a part i had gotten on ebay. Turns out it wasnt the rotor for the ABS model. He ordered the one i need… but the wrong one came, he called me, told me what happened, and got the right one rushed out. Very fair and honest guy… oh and he knows his stuff too.

Very dismissive, seems to have a lot of knowledge, didnt help me one bit. sold me a master link for a motorcycle chain that was not even close to what I needed and said its cool I see people doing way more dangerous stuff all the time. Thought about it and decided 10 bux is way cheaper of a lesson than breaking the chain and crashing my bike.

These guys are great. The owners are right there. The mechanics really know their stuff. They try to give you the best deal they can. Very helpful. Its a little hard to get up the drive way and into the lot but worth it. I never take my bike anywhere else.
