Great place to shop. Only piece of criticism I have is that at times I feel they are either under staffed on the registers, or its just not a priority to have more than two registers open. Overall, they have a decent selection of groceries.(small variety of organic - but its not whole foods) Staff is friendly, but dont expect them to go out of their way to serve you.

After the remodeling, the place is really clean and organized. I like a lot better than it was before. Foodmax can be cheap in prices compare to the other grocery stores. There are things that are on sale check the local ad store for them. Definitely an improved store.

I love the renovation with this store. It is much cleaner and more organized. One of the best options for groceries if youre in the area. Very cheap prices. Its less hassle than Costco, more selection than Grocery Outlet and more organized than ethnic markets.

Like their quality but they should go back to 24 hours we needed something really quick because it was New Years of 2015 it was 2014 and about to became 2015 and we were going to have a party and we need some chicken but it was closed by the time we got there

Recently renovated and changed their layout. Much nicer now. Added self-checkout which helps the lines. Great selection of produce that is far cheaper from any of the other general grocery stores.

Not my favorite FoodMaxx. It has the sketchiest parking lot and drivers in East San Jose. Be cautious and more so during the night.
