I just want to say that the ladies at this Petco are absolutely amazing! I had just gotten my dog groomed at petsmart and was trying to kill time so I took my dog to Petco just to look around. I walked into the groomer just to ask questions about pricing. One of the ladies started asking me general questions about my little guy and I told her that I had just got him groomed that day. I thought nothing of him still being a little hairy. She offered to fix it for me. As soon as she started I could already see the difference. Needless to say I will not be taking my dog back to petsmart to be groomed. I never write reviews but I just had to share how awesome these ladies were!

I bought several snakes from petco(s). end of 2012 I bought a candy cane corn. that thing ended up having crypto. no of me snakes had it before, this one arrived and it ended up contaminating one, (thank god). they dont have the slightest idea what they are selling and how to tale care of it. their ball pythons have mites, and they will spread through your collection. there is never any employee near that reptile section, I have to get someone from the birds or fish to help me. the petco on 101 and northern, dont even waist your time on driving there. they just dont care....

Do not buy from here. These people are lazy. Look what they did to these DEAD bettas and this poor cat that is too large for these cages. The bettas were semi-hidden BEHIND a poster. No, I didn’t set them there, I literally found them how you see them. Another thing is that their place is very dirty. Im scared to touch anything. Itd be best to take them out of business. OR at least have a new and 100% improved manager as well as workers.

One of the cleaner pet stores that the family and I enjoy coming to. Can agree with most folks that they can be pricey for certain items, but hey theres alternative options out there. Most of the time you do have to ask for assistance, which honestly I dont mind just because Id rather roam in peace than to be hounded down all the time. Great store! - John Ralphio out! Haha Parks n Rec pun.

Horrible customer service. Asked if I needed help then never came back after he said hed be right back with a ladder. We finally pushed the ladder over and climbed up to get it ourselves. Will not return. We love our dogs and cats so dont mind spending money on them but Petco wont see a dime more. Tried to call in to talk about it but couldnt get through.

Super friendly and helpful staff. The check out clerk noticed my dog had allergies and mentioned food options that might be better. We had just switched foods a few days ago but was impressed they spoke up and were interested in the well being of my pup. They also have an engraving machine for personalized tags immediately available, easy to use.

Sometimes they just do not have enough of my brand of dog food, actually almost everytime, and Wellness Core is not an obscure brand by any means. That is frustrating when you are trying to take advantage of the frequent buyer program they offer but end up having to go to Pet Club or PetSmart to get the food you need.

Its the only place near my home where I can get my puppies Hills science diet dog food and Im always getting coupons from them as well , I love Petco! I didnt give it five stars because the puppy clothes is so cute but yet so expensive. I have found exact same doggy outfits way cheaper at other places

If you need quick supplies its a good place to go. As a fish lover it is VERY sad to see how badly they "care" for the fish. There has been multiple times that I have seen fish with ick or just dead in the tanks. If you live in Phoenix spend extra to go some place else for fish.

Friendly service. The store is unorganized for the most part. There is always toys and collars and treats all over the place as if a mob ran through the store. Other than that I love this store.
