I made an original review regarding my dissatisfactory experience with this dealer but it was strangely deleted. I won’t spend so much time as to go into detail again in regarding this dealer so I will explain a bit of how they work. My experience with Sheridan Ford has been that this dealer is mostly a waste of time for serious buyers not interested in being taken advantage of. They play the game of "being your friend" while dodging important car buying questions. Trying to get a straight answer from them is highly unlikely. They play the game of shifting the power from you to them when it comes to purchasing a vehicle. Instead of obtain a vehicle on your terms they try to get you to obtain it on their terms. They’ll tell you the same "Old lady who drives to church every Sunday" type of stories, we can get you financed no problem nonsense, and the “you can trusts us look at the Carfax” games. When you ask more direct or specific questions you WILL NOT get anywhere. Feel free to ask them yourself “What are the service records on a vehicle, who do they finance with? What’s the requirement to get their best rate, what score report do they use? Etc. Etc. Etc.” You will just get the run around although this is information any dealer interested in making a sale should be able to share with you. As I’ve been car shopping and looking around on many lots, this was never a problem except for dealers that were shady. They’ll tell you whatever they need on the phone to get you there in person so they can screen you and then try to push you to purchase on of their vehicles. It comes down to being a waste of time at the end of the day for persons not interested in playing games or being judged by a dealership going by the books cover. It took me one trip there to realize I was not in good hands with this place so I moved on. I just wanted to make a review to let other potential shoppers in the area to be prepared when dealing with buying a car at their dealership. To further elaborate here is my direct experience: They wasted my time by having me drive far out my township to their dealership for the purpose of a test drive on a car I had been discussing with them for the past week. They knew the exact day and time I was to arrive. They knew to be prepared to let me test drive the vehicles I was inquiring of. The day I get there they act as though the previous conversations never occurred. Instead I waste my time lifting hoods and popping trunks. I did not spend an hour out my schedule to look at the vehicles carpeting or valve cover dust. I came to drive the vehicles to see if I liked one of them I’d further pursue to negotiate purchasing. Instead they gave me an excuse about the weather although it had only drizzled and the sky was clearing up (I assume vehicles are not water proof). If this was ever a problem they could have contacted me long before I arrived as this was 4:00pm that I was there. If that was ever an issue or concern the salesmen I had been speaking with should have contacted me to reschedule. They knew what I was driving up to their dealership to do. Long story short I learned just how flaky their sales team is and they permanently lost any chance of my business. I dislike the idea of having to do the thinking for the salesman. It’s not my job as a buyer to sell a car to myself. The salesman is there to do as his job is titled and that’s sell you a vehicle.

Somehow our first review was erased. DO NOT waste your time buying any vehicles from this place. We made a deal on a used MDX with the salesman, he agreed, we emailed our insurance cards, registration cards, dealership ran our credit, got the rate we were looking for, had all the paperwork ready as of 5:30 yesterday with the understanding that we were coming the next day (today, Saturday) to pick up the vehicle and sign all the prepared paperwork. We drove an hour and a half from PA to find out at 10:15 am (when we arrived at the dealership) that the car was sold that morning. So the sleezebags claim. Somehow between 9 AM and 10 AM it was sold. Id love to find a car dealership that I could purchase a car within a hour and be out the door!! Manager was less than professional and a cocky sob. Ive never in my life experienced such terrible customer service. BAD BAD WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS! "Ajay" (Sheridan Ford) wrote back below to my initial review. If you look around online, youll see numerous bad reviews on this dealership. Do your homework. Well thats such a coincidence that "Ajay" just happened to write his review on google the same day as ur experience. Gee, and it just so happens that we were looking at the same vehicle - a 2010 Acura MDX!! This is one of the sleezebags from the dealership writing their "Fake" review. See, they have time to do this because when we pulled in to sign all the paperwork, the entire dealership was sitting outside smoking. If I did this where I was employed, Id be fired! And certainly if my customer service was like this, Id be long out the door!! And Ajay (Sheridan Ford), the deal was done you jackass and YOU ALL knew we were coming in this morning to sign the paperwork. Manager pulled the deal, didnt like the deal the salesman gave us, we werent born yesterday! BAD BAD way to run a business. Its all good, we found another Acura MDX today for an even better price!! Now get yourself off the computer and go be the shister that you are and rip some more people off!!! One day youll mess with the wrong person and youll see where it gets you. If we can save just one person from having to deal with the non-sense and bad business we received today, then we feel better. Drive the extra couple miles to another Ford Dealer!! You will be glad you did!

I bought my 2014 F-150 from them. I had X-plan pricing and told them about it up front. I also knew the exact truck that I wanted, down to the VIN number. I had to hold their hand through the whole process of getting the truck into the dealership. They straight-up lied about the truck being sold and unavailable, it just turns out the dealership holding it doesnt deal with Sheridan (in retrospect I can understand why). I found an identical truck coming of the line and got them to bring it in. I go to finalize the purchase, and they act like theyve never heard of X-plan pricing, essentially accuse me of lying and cheating them. Had to get a 2nd pin number generated to get the X-plan price. Have the truck for a year, decide to install a remote start system in it. I do everything, install the system, cut the keys, program the keys, etc. The ONLY thing they have to do is activate it in the truck, 3 steps and 5 minutes of time. I take the truck in, Im there for an hour. I watch the guy who does the work on the truck from the waiting room window, it takes him 4 minutes. My truck was either sitting in the bay or in the parking lot for the rest of the time, with no one anywhere around it. I get called up and they want nearly an hours worth of labor, $90, for the 4 minutes of work AFTER all the work I did to install it. I had no choice but to pay it, but I told them if theyre charging me that much that Im never coming back and theyre going to get a negative review. His response: "Go ahead." Probably my first ever google review. Bayshore Ford is great to work with and will get my business from here on out.
