Response from previous reviews written by " plainandsimple and workinghard ". As the owner of bridge street auto sales, i would like to say we take pride in every vehicle sold. However due to the large volume of sales, unfortunately things can happen which none of us can predict, I feel what matters most is how things are handled once they do! I always try to treat people the way i want to be treated, and anyone who knows me will tell you the same. However i can not be responsible for the personal choices someone makes when purchasing a vehicle. If you choose to purchase a particular make or model which is more prone to mechanical issues, all we can do is advise different or make them aware of whats apparent at the time of sale or inspection, and offer a warranty. In my Opinion, volkswagons are very fun vehicles to drive but are known for having alot of mechanical issues (check any forum online) especially with coil packs, sensors, warning lights, etc. Note: the vehicle developed a misfire due to a faulty coil pack and a oil cooler oring started leaking approx. one month after purchase. The two negative reviews written were both from hsuband and wife with several components missing from the story, first-they didnt spend any money to correct the items which unfortunately failed..In fact all repair costs were absorbed by the dealer including the towing, and we delivered the vehicle directly to the customers door step! And offered a loaner vehicle prior to retrieving the vehicle. Ironically enough, the vehicle they traded also needed a coil pack which was not mentioned at all during the trade process? I wonder if they will participate in the repair cost? Our 7 years in business and hundreds or even thousands of satisfied customers are a testimony to who we are. Thank you for listening, Rob Wiley

Well we moved from Texas and needed to get a vehicle MD state inspected at Bridge Street Autos, while we were getting our car inspected, they not only do service work and inspections but also sell pre owned vehicles, not only did we trade in our 2002 Ford F150 we purchased a 2010 Ford F150 which was immaculate, they also approved me within 15 mins which I was a little suprised and I honestly wasnt looking to purchase a newer truck but it was such an awesome deal and they werent pushy on trying to buy the truck right then and there. We were so happy with our new truck and payments we wanted to be we were looking for a specific vehicle that wasnt on there lot, so a few weeks later my wife and I recieved a call from these guys stating the tags are in for the truck and have both of us stop in, well we did and on the front line there was a 2006 Nissan 350Z, long story short it was in our driveway a few days later, Its nice to know that there are some honest guys willing to work with us, I give 2 thumbs up to Jabi and Rob for taking great care of us.

WOW!!!! I was not expecting the outstanding service from a used card dealership as I received from bridge street auto sales. They were excellent!!! I was looking for a cargo van and all the dealerships i went to had either bad service or did a bait and switch when I got there. When I saw a cargo van listed on Bridge Street Auto Sales it was in my price range and the miles that I was looking for. I called and spoke with Jabi. He was very helpful and said that they still had the van. So I want there and looked and test drove it. It was exactly as described on there website and it looked/ran great. We then started the purchase process and Jabi made it very easy and took the time to understand my budget and concerns. After the paperwork was complete I was able to pick up my Van and drove it back home. It runs great and I am extremely happy with the purchase and outstanding service that was provided by Jabi and Bridge Street Auto Sales I will definitely go back for my next car!!!! Highly Recommended!!

Weve had two bad dealings with this place. I took a car in for inspection and they misdiagnosed almost every issue with the car. It took a long time to track down the real issues because of time wasted on their inspection report. They told me they wouldnt charge me for adjusting my one rear wheel bearing. Of course they neglected to mention that it has to be removed to inspect it. My step son bought a 350Z from them over a year ago. We were told at the time that the car was from a relative of someone who worked there. We had issues within a few months and just recently ran a carfax on the car to find out it had been previously salvaged. Run a carfax on anything you consider buying. Dealerships will use this info against you when you try to trade a car in.

As a first "real" vehicle purchase as husband and wife, we were nervous and on where to go and what the process would entail. We waited almost a year because of our hesitation! Finally, after months of searching trucks on line, we found the perfect one for my husband at Bridge Street Auto in Elkton. Jabi was beyond fantastic! He made the process completely painless. We went from stress-overload to worry-free in three days! Everyone there was extremely kind; this made the experience even better and definitely a place to recommend. Jabi addressed our concerns quickly and was honest; sometimes he went above and beyond! My first experience with Bridge Street Auto was with the service department. Their staff was so friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with how I was treated when I took my car in to have it serviced. The service department was able to correct the problem quickly and effectively. I have since returned, but this time to purchase a vehicle. My husband and I had a specific vehicle in mind and it of course needed to fit our set budget. Jason Howard was able to find a truck quickly. The one he found far exceeded our expectations and stayed well within our budget. I will definitely be returning there for any of my future purchases and will be sending my friends and family there as well.

This place lied to me to get me in a truck. 2 weeks after I purchased it the truck the check engine light is on and they cant see me right away then clear the code and tell me ill have to wait to take it to the transmission shop and told me they knew about it before the sold it to me. Then it wouldnt start got a starter. Then it wouldnt start had to fix connections on the battery. When I call the shop they give me the run around and cant seem to look at it. Terrible. And very frustrating. Before I bought it I told them I needed something very reliable because I have 2 kids and a full time job. The truck has left me stranded multiple times. And the service is terrible.

Just bought my 08 VW GTI this week from Bridge Street Autos. I was blown away by the level of customer service I received. Jabi was very friendly, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. He managed to get me a car I love with the payments that I wanted. The whole staff was kind and eager to help. Coming from someone that works in a customer service business I couldnt believe how great myself, and my whole family were treated while doing business with Bridge Street. I will definitely return in the future and I encourage everyone to look these guys up if youre in the market for a great used vehicle!
