Unfortunately my experience with MacMedia continues to go down hill. In January we had to take the iMac back to replace the hard drive they had put in last April, it took several days to get a diagnosis and then they wanted me to pay for a new hard drive. Finally I was able to talk with a manager who took care of it and replaced it under the warranty and had it back to me within a few days. Total time was ridiculous though, and I shouldnt have had to fight to get it done when they replaced it less than a year before. Initially at my January visit they thought it my be my video card, I was told because its a 2011 iMac that would be replaced under an Apple Recall exchange at no charge. It wasnt my video card then and now 3 months later (with a lot of the same issues) it seems it is the video card and suddenly that recall doesnt extend to me and I need to pay to have it replaced. Dropped off Sunday was told Id have an answer by Monday afternoon, didnt hear back until Tuesday afternoon when someone called me while the tech was allegedly on the phone with Apple, and then suddenly told no. Now Im waiting back on a call from the manager to explain to me why 3 months means I no longer am eligible for the recall replacement of my video card. Sadly I would no longer recommend these guys and wont buy my new machine with them. Its sad. I really prefer to support local businesses when I can, and this was such a great experience to start but it seems the last year or two has changed a lot within the company because its no longer the same place I first purchased from in 2013. **Updated** Was called once again by tech, still have not heard from manager as I requested yesterday. Picked up my machine and brought it back to my office, chatted with Apple Care for about 10 minutes and exception was made and theyre covering it 100%. And are happy to have MacMedia do it, funny how they said Apple wouldnt do it for them because they were trying to put MacMedia out of business. Sounds like thats not the case. Taking it to the Apple Store directly later today and will get this fixed. Should have just touched base with them 3 days ago, Id likely have it back by now. Sad to say, avoid this team. ***Updated**** After taking the machine to the Apple Store directly because of the horrible back and forth earlier this week with the team at MacMedia it turns out the hard drive that MacMedia replaced in January is failing. The hard drive they installed because the one they had installed in March 2015 also failed. I let the owner know that I expected them to cover the cost to have Apple repair the hard drive and felt most comfortable with our conversations being documented so all communication must happen via email, and was refused. He eventually contacted my contact at the Apple Store and told her they refused to pay to replace the part. I let the Apple Store know I refused to take my machine to their team again. It was clearly substandard parts and/or work. Once happens, twice is a pattern. I chose to have Apple replace the hard drive. At this point not only would I not recommend MacMedia, but Ive filed an official complaint with Apple after my horrific experience. Do yourself a favor, go over to the Apple Store, there is a reason theyre always busy and MacMedia is always available. Its a quality of work, and quality of experience difference that can not be spoken about enough.

Gentlemen, Words will never be able to express the joy you have extended to me and my family this holiday season. In our society today, we as a people have turned cold and have forgotten about relationships, kindness, joy or just how the effects of an honest smile will most of the time make all the difference in a persons good or bad experience and impression of you and/or your business. I have been a customer of yours for quite a few years now and I almost have classified myself as an investor because my loyalty when looking for products and stellar customer service keeps you at the top of my list. Consistent Stellar Customer Service, Uncomparable or Uncompromisable Friendliness, Ordering in my favorite products and the professional follow-up and follow thru Having product on hand and mostly always available, Open minded to introducing and.or ordering products that I brought to your attention. All the special "kudos"! Lastly, to have Brian, Calob and Mike all team together to make sure I was able to have the etching of Dale Earnhardt on my husbands new Ipad for Christmas was one of the most special moments that completed my holiday season. Well, we got it done and the smile on my husbands face and the oohhs and aahhs during that moment when he turned over that iPad and saw the etching will forever be etched on my heart. I love all of you and thank you for loving me too. Merry Christmas MacMedia Family and ofcourse and as always, I will see you all soon. God Bless You. Do NOT buy Juce Peel protectors and do NOT frequent this place. I usually support local business before big boxes, so I try to stop in here first for our Apple devices needs before going to the Apple store at Biltmore. My husband wasnt too impress with their customer service the few times he went in, and felt they were always trying to sell him things he didnt need. Should have listened to husband. (Should have read the reviews here first!) When I came last month to get a USB cord, I happened to see the Juce Peel Glass Screen Protector for iPhone. The sale guy told me its lifetime guarantee, and if broken etc.. they will replace. At $39.99 a protector, I figured its a good investment for expensive iPhone. After thinking it over, I came back three weeks ago and had 3 glasses screen protectors put on 3 iPhones. In 3 weeks, 2 out of 3 phones had the glasses chipped off at the edges. Not even a month. Mac Media at Scottsdale guy told me it will cost me $12.99 each to replace the glass. He took out his own phone and showed me HIS didnt have any chip and he had it for a long time, so obviously its our fault, and not the product, and lifetime warrantee means I still have to pay even if its only three weeks and it happens to 2 out of 3 phones. Lesson learned. No more MacMedia for us! No trusting Juce Peel products developed by MacMedia or any other products. Should have read the reviews here first.

I went into the Mac Media store to have my laptop checked out when a CD that I had put into the drive failed to eject. The guys working there saw me quickly and listened to my issue. At first they quoted me several days for the job to be done and a dollar amount. Much to my surprise, they called the very next day to tell me the job was complete. Here is were the story gets good. I few years ago my Laptop took a nose dive onto the floor. The plastics on the lid and next to the keyboard were cracked. I took it to Mac to get fixed but they said they could not help me. I pretty much gave up on having my laptop look nice again. When I picked up my Laptop today the guys at the Mac Media store fixed that as well. They said it was a defective part. My laptop looks BRAND NEW. Not only did they rush my order but the cost was 50% lower than originally quoted. I will be a repeat customer!
