Purchased a bedroom and living room set in July of 2015, when I was on the the show floor looking at my options this cream colored set caught my eye but I was hesitant to purchase it due to the fact that at the time I had a 7 month old. Upon hearing my hesitation the salesman told me about this "wonderful" staingaurd that they offered, promising me that "food stains would come up with ease" and "beverages would bead up and roll off the furniture". I was charged an extra $70.00 to get my sofa "staingaurded", $60.00 for my love seat and $20.00 for my ottoman....a bunch of lies! Literally everything stains my couches, including water! I have had technicians come out 3 separate times to remove stains that I couldnt get out with the rooms to go cleaner that they gave me. Two of the times I had a very professional, older technician come out, he was very meticulous and you could tell that he cared. One of the times I had a guy in his late 20s maybe early 30s come out, he "cleaned" the stains and left. A week later when I was cleaning I went to vacuum out my couches and noticed that he didnt in fact get the stain out, HE FLIPPED THE COUCH CUSHIONS! I didnt call to complain because at this point I was livid and didnt feel like dealing with it. Fast forward, my 7 month old son is now a 2 year old toddler, hes constantly getting food or leaking his sippy cups onto my furniture and I can only get out so many stains. I called rooms to go about 2 weeks ago to express my frustration with the "stain guard" and how it didnt work, they referred me to their customer service number and I called. The lady on the phone told me to send pictures of the stains to an email address that she gave me and that someone would contact me. Well here we are almost 2 weeks later and I havent even gotten a confirmation email or anything, so I went up to rooms to go. Apparently, the manager had just gone home and I was pointed in the direction of an office, the lady I spoke to in the "office" was downright rude and had this arrogant smirk on her face the entire time. I explained my situation and she just said that she was calling customer service, whoever she was talking to on the phone said that they got my email wasnt able to view the pictures...you couldnt have EMAILED me saying that? So as of now yet again another technician is coming out to remove stains from my furniture and only if they cant get it out will they replace it. Shouldnt a product that I paid an extra of almost $200 do its job and GUARD my furniture from STAINS? The only reason I bought that light colored set is because the salesman told me that the stuff would work. You would think that them just replacing my set with something darker would be cheaper then sending out technician after technician. I make all of my monthly payments BEFORE their actual due date and this is how Im treated? Never again will I ever buy furniture from you guys.

after the experience I had today at rooms to go I will be making a post on consumer affairs, the BBB, Facebook, and pissed consumer. I will also let everyone I know not to step foot in your stores after the way I was treated today for something that was completely not my fault. I had purchased a mattress from you guys about 2 years ago in that time frame. I had the mattress replaced once. I didnt have the replacement for six months before the mattress had caved in on both sides making hard as a rock when the guy came out not only had the mattress collapse the box springs had caved as well. the 3rd time they authorized a warranty replacement rather then replace the bed. Then they have the total nerve to ask me to pay another 100 to cover theyre shipping to send it back. like wtf how is that my problem. But fine whatever its only a $100 could be worse. so I go into the store and I am informed by YOUR sales associate. that they dont have any beds in the 800 price range and if I want a better bed Im just going to have to pay more for it. now Im annoyed because I know why he is doing this. I work on commission I know helping a warranty swap customer doesnt pay unless you upsell them. Normally most associates will push past this and help the customer this associate did not. He decided to be rude as he possibly could be to get us out of the store including tell us he doesnt think we have any beds in "our" price range. and further more when he went to talk to his store manager. they thought they were out of ear shot. However this was not the case I overheard the manager telling the associate "the store doesnt make anything on this just sent the guy to 1800 I dont want to deal with this. its not our problem". I will never step foot in this place again or spend another cent in any of your stores as long as I live. I will take my business to badcock where I have never had any bad experiences with. unless we can resolve this matter. I dont mind spending more money on a bed if I have to but you can rest assured it will not be with your store ever.

We called into the store and asked if they had a specific product in stock, we drove 40 minutes to look at a couch. Once we arrived we asked for the woman we spoke to on the phone. Pam H. She took us to see the couch we asked about. We decided it was nice but wanted to look at a few others. She was willing to show us a few others, but once I mentioned we were shopping with store credit (our wedding gift) her attitude completely changed. She explained the office would have to ring us up. She literally got up, and as she was walking away from us, over her shoulder told us to find her if we needed anything. I tried explaining I wanted to buy other items cash after our wedding. But she didnt care. She left us on our own, as she went and sat down to play on her phone. Once she found out that her sale wouldnt have made much commission she dropped us. Being a sales person myself I understand helping a customer who you might not get a commission sucks, but you dont have to be so apparent. I also explained I was going to come back and buy more stuff from her. My advice is to skip this store (as every other review says) and whatever you do, dont work with Pam. Shes not a good person, and trust me if she was this rude when we were trying to buy something, imagine how careless shed be we had an issue. People deserve to be treated like people, not dollar signs.. Thanks for a terrible first experience Pam, I hope you lose many more sales from this review. You dont deserve them.

Wow wish I read the reviews on this store first. Bought a piece of furniture. Was told it would be delivered today Friday November 27, 2015 between 7am and 11am. Got a call on Wednesday November 25 and was told I was first. It will be here at 7am. By 11:30 no delivery and no call. I called and with no apologies was told driver running behind wont be long. I had a 2:30 doctor appointment. Waited till 2:15 and called doctor to cancel. That cost me 125.00. My table with delivery charge was 181.88. Now Im not happy. I call again and call center rudely says well I will cancel delivery if your unhappy. No apology no admitting they or driver should have contacted me throughout the day. Then told had to call sales person to cancel order and get credit card credited back. Pam Hanna would not come on the phone. Told guy I was talking to to handle the cancellation. Really Pam? Not one person tried to save the sale nor did anyone apologize. I asked for store manager to call and talk to me. That was hours ago. What a terrible experience. I would have been fine with 9pm delivery if someone would have just communicated with me. Please do not ever go to this store. Personally I will never go to rooms to go!!! Shame on you management and sales team and customer service. Shame on you all!
