My in store experience with Havertys wasnt a bad one. They even went the extra mile when it came to me exchanging my couch. The only issue I had was with the Wednesday delivery drivers. I took time out of my Wednesdays for two weeks, and they were not within there two hour window. After the first issue, I spoke with the store manager Robert Griffey and he helped me schedule another delivery day for the following Wednesday. I asked if this was a common thing, them being so far behind and he said no, and that he would send me a gift card for my troubles. I wait another week and the same situation happens again. The delivery keeps getting pushed back later and later. At that time I spoke with the assistant store manager David Jenks who told me he would call the delivery people and let them know I had limited time. They never showed up at all that day after I had someone wait after I had to leave for work. Two days later, I still hadnt heard from anyone at the store so I had to reach out to them. Spoke to David Jenks again, who rescheduled the delivery for yet another day, and also said he would send me a gift card for my troubles. The Thursday delivery drivers went off of there normal route to deliver my couch. They were not the friendliest drivers and seemed annoyed when I asked them to actually connect the couch pieces together instead of just sitting them next to each other. After they left, I assumed I would at the very least get a phone call from either Robert Griffey or David Jenks and two weeks later, I still have not received a phone call to see how things were, OR either of the two gift cards that were promised to me. I was very optimistic about Havertys when I first purchased my sectional from them, but after the bad experience I have had, I will not recommend them to anyone and will take my business elsewhere. When did "providing good customer service" get thrown out the window?

I purchased the "Hampton Place" entertainment unit here about 2 years ago (still sold there). It has never been moved- was delivered and assembled in its current position by Havertys. Nothing has ever happened to the unit and has been gently used over the years. It is however completely falling apart (see pictures). The doors at the front of the unit dont close because the front wood facing is crooked and coming apart. All of the magnetic closures are coming off of the unit. The front facing pieces and finishing nails are being pulled away from the unit. I called Havertys customer service and they will not stand by their product quality at all past a year. I am posting this on Google as the Havertys website, even though it has "reviews", does not allow you to go on and post a review about the product. In short, if you want a piece of furniture that will only last a year, you can certainly find it other places for less cost than this store.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I was looking for a sleeper sofa and a gentleman took his time to show me all of the available selections in store as well as the combinations of custom fabrics on various models of sofas. I ended up getting a custom fabric on a sofa that was delivered less than a week later... very impressed! So far I have been happy with the quality of the furniture as well. The fabric protector demonstration where the water beads up on the paper is far from the reality of the spray on a couch. The water soaks right in to the furniture even if it is sprayed... I even called the customer service number to confirm mine was actually sprayed at the factory.

My wife and I went to Havertys today specifically to see the Laramie sectional sofa. Upon arrival we were greeted by Valerie who took outstanding care of us. She got us an amazing deal on the perfect piece of furniture to fit our home. Since we already knew what we wanted when we came in Valerie had us on our way in 30 minutes and well have our beautiful new sofa in less than 2 days. Thanks to Havertys and Valerie for such a quick and simple transaction.
