I bought a bed with Acceptance Now.I just wanted wanted to pay it off in a couple months, so they put me on the 90 day program. The bed was a total of about $800 (Although no paperwork they produced ever said the price of the bed). In fact, no paperwork that they gave me stated anything corresponding to what I had agreed upon. When it was delivered, it was missing pieces, and was not safe for my child to sleep on. After having to take the day off work to wait for them to deliver, I was not willing to take another day for them to bring what they should have in the 1st place. After about 3 hours of trying to get a time that they would be delivering, they mentioned that I was going to have to pay another delivery charge. B****S****! I told them I was not paying any delivery charges, they then informed me that they could not take any chars off of my bill. At that point we decided the hassle was not worth it, and cancelled the whole thing. It took me another 6 phone calls and 3 more hours, and then me going down there in person before they would cancel it. They told me they were waiting on a phone call from shipping to get it scheduled (they had been telling this for the past 5 hours now. At that point I dialed the shipping number on my cell phone and put it on speaker. I was not at all surprised when the office was closed. This was not the 1st time that I had caught these people in a flat out lie this day. I asked the woman face to face if she had planned on telling me the same line of "I am just waiting for that phone call, they should call any minute now" knowing that the office is closed and that phone call is not coming today? She said "Yes Maam" At this point I am beyond pissed. Finally got everything canceled and got my refund. Now I pulled up my credit report and they put that I had $2209 and 17 months of payments? Now I am having to dispute that.What a fraudulent company! Almost 2 months later this is still not resolved.I have documented over 20 phone calls that I have made to the corporate office to file complaints against the ones in this store that I have dealt with, including the operators ID# and received several Ticket #s. Every time I am told that Dennis the General Manager will call you back with in 2 hours. He never calls. I honestly think he is not real at this point. So now no one will call be back, they have never shown up to pick up the bed when scheduled, and as of yesterday they filed grand theft on me???!!!! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? I explained everything to the police and another pick up date was tentatively scheduled pending confirmation from the warehouse. I have yet to hear from them. I did contact the police and let them know that I have not been contacted. This is ridiculous!How can a company run like this? Update - After a pick up date was scheduled with the police, they still didnt show to pick it up, nor did they call.I called to update the police, he went down there, and nothing was ever scheduled. What a joke!You are filing against me, but you cant even bother to schedule anything?

HORRIBLE!!!!! Ordered over $2000 worth of furniture. They show up on Saturday to deliver and set-up only to find out one of the bolts for the bed was stripped and they had no extra. The guys told us that someone would be calling us in an hour to schedule a service appointment to come out and fix it. They told us not to put the box spring or mattress on it as it would break the wood. This was at 4pm on Saturday. No one called us. We called this morning and we were told that they would mail us the part which would arrive in 3-5 business days and once it arrived, to call and set up a service appointment. Um, we have no bed to sleep on. I call back and spoke with Ashley who told me she would try to get someone out there today. This was at 1p. I explained that Im at work and an hour from home. She told me she would call me back. She called me back at 2:30p when I was in a meeting and left no voicemail. I called back at 3p and was advised that they had scheduled the service appointment for today from 11a-3p???? And they called to tell me at 2:30p???? Im lost. I explained that I told Ashley that I am an hour away from home and normally dont get home until 6pm. I asked to speak with a supervisor and spoke with Alexis. She advised that the service appointment was actually scheduled for tomorrow from 11a-3p and acted as though they were doing me a favor by coming out. She explained that their delivery company does not tell them when there is an issue with the delivery or set-up so it was our (the customer) responsibility to call them to advise them that there was a bolt missing??? I guess they hire a company to do their delivery and set-ups, but dont require them to follow up when there is a set up problem?? I agreed to the service appointment from 11a-3p tomorrow which means I have to take off work (why I originally scheduled the original set up and delivery for a Saturday) and asked for a $50 refund since they did not deliver and set up the bed as they promised. She said that they did. I asked if having a bed where you cannot place a mattress or box spring on it because it would break was their definition of set up. I asked for the $50 refund also because we have to endure an unexpected 3 more nights sleeping on the floor and I have to take off a whole day so they can fix the issue they were at fault for. She said that she would not do that under any circumstances and again acted like they were doing us a favor by coming out to fix their problem. I have previously ordered a couch, love seat, coffee table, end tables, entertainment stand, dining room set with 4 chairs. This time I ordered a bed, dresser, and pull out couch. Wish I could take back all the money I have ever given this company since they are blaming me for all of this. No empathy, no admitting to a problem on their end......just made to feel that I should be thanking them and giving them praise for coming out to fix the bolt. Never again will I buy from them!

I enjoyed working with the sales rep, she was wonderful - except she backtracked on the shipping and delivery - which was nothing like was expected. the shipping went from an estimate of $59 to $99, so she dropped it down to $89. then while setting up delivery, it was promised that wed get some flexibility with the delivery - which was IMPERATIVE since my room mate and I are gone a lot. Well, that didnt happen. We were given a window, and thats it. to change it, we had to wait 48 hours. No bueno. We spoke to 2 reps thinking hanging up and calling back again would help, but no. The delivery window just didnt work for us, and their excuse was "well its already on the truck". That is NOT customer service... nor was it explained like that when I bought it. I then asked to cancel the order, only to be told to call the store. Then when I called the store I was told that all post-order customer service has to be done through the toll free number, so I call the toll free number and once again am told I have to call the store. The rep did finally call the store, except now they wont process my refund for a few days because "its on the truck". its just interesting that its "on the truck" when the delivery date isnt for 3 days and I only got the alert for delivery a few hours ago. Now the furniture was nice, but if you are flexible enough to work around THEIR schedule, then maybe R2G is good for you! For me, Im placing my order with Macys today. AND get it delivered in a time window that works for us.
