I recently moved into Tualatin which is close to the Sherwood Home depot. I am a single woman who at times like these could really use a man in my life. Well without one, I went into the store today and was greeted by a man in the garden center that walked me all the way into the store to show me where the things I was looking for were. He spent a good 15 minutes with me explaining how to do things and teaching me. Satisfactory service. I thought all of my questions were answered when I saw a woman working there and asked her a few questions... Her name was Heidi. What a huge asset Heidi is to the store there. She gave me some wonderful ideas and showed me all around the store for different possibilities on things I can create myself. Heidi was very informative and I felt excited when I left there and not overwhelmed. Thank you to all the staff members; Thank you again for making my visit to the Home Depot today a wonderful experience.

Went here today, had my son and two of his buddies from football with me. Had to pick up some things for a clogged pipe. We asked for help, they showed us the wrong thing so I explained again what it was I was looking for. I was directed to go to the desk and that person would help me. It began to be a game... We counted 12, yes 12, employees that walked past us and didnt so much as aknowledge we were there. A fellow customer watched this and walked us through the plumbing isles and helped me pick out what I needed. One girl we walked past after we got our items asked if we needed help. I thanked her for asking but we had already gotten what we needed. I normally dont have this experience there. It makes me wonder if it was because I was a single female, There with three kids, which were clearly different "shades of American".... (Yes, different races).... Not impressed whatever the reason was

Just had the worst customer service out of any Home Depot. Went in with my husband to get trim for our new house. Stood in the lumber section trying to find assistance for over 30 minutes. Asked the first sales associate, Jerry, who was rude and wanted nothing to do with us. Then found a second sales associate who refused to help and told us to ask the guy helping another customer at the saw. Went up to the check out sales associate at the contractor check who called for assistance in lumbar and then proceeded to say they must be at lunch. Then we went to customer service who FINALLY put us on touch we other a guy named Gill who was super helpful. If it werent for Gill, I would probably not return to Home Depot. I woke in customer service and that was the worst display of customer service Ive ever seen. Epic fail Home Depot.

I was impressed in the opportunities Home Depot has to offer in opening up a credit line. I went into the plumbing department this week to pickup a flange (or wax ring) fpr my toilet and was helped by the manager of that deparmtent who was very helpful. She informed me about this offer for a line of credit and what shocked me was that theyre promoting a 24 month interest free (if i understood correctly) credit line so that i can make my goal of remodeling this summer a reality! Man im stoked! I do my own work because Ive worked in townhome maintenence for 3 years down in southern California, but they even offer the option to have professional installation on all the work I am going to do. Someone pinch me! Am i dreaming? This is great news and just what I will need.

We received very poor customer service while atenpting to purchase some carpeting, we arrive to find a lady at the counter in flooring, her name was Sherrie. She said she would send someone over to help us and left. We waited for 20 minutes and asked continuously "can you send us someone to help us." To multiple employees. We finally find the lady you was supposed to be helping us, walking and talking with another employee it was Sherrie . We confronted her in flooring after half an hour once she finally returned to flooring. Finally without addressing how unconveniant it was for us to waste out time for no reason. She helped us purchase some carpeting. I will be going to Lowes next time.

I just drove an extra 15 mins out of my way to go to home depot. I am painting a dresser and had no idea where to start, so I asked the young guy behind the paint counter. I said, "I need a quart of cheap gray paint." He pointed down an aisle and said Its be down there. Either latex or oil based. I walked down the aisle with no clue what I was looking for and he walked by pushing a basket and pointed to a metallic gray and a dif color and told me something about oil or latex. Worst customer service ever. I needed to get paint, stuff to sand with, brushes, etc. I left without looking back. Will go to Ace hardware for this project and never return to this home depot.

In the time that I have come here (since it was first opened) I have had mixed experiences. If you need something and you know where it is great, no problems. If you require assistance from customer service GOOD LUCK! They are as incompetent as Ive ever seen. On my most recent visit a simple online order turned into a 2 hour nightmare. They dont know what theyre doing and they are rude. I cant express in words how frustrated I am with this level of incompetence. Absolutely horrible! In addition the manager , a lady named Micah, was also awful. If any of the three worked for me I would fire them.

Getting help in the garden department is ridiculous! Even when not busy! 2X in past week I tried unsuccessfully for items which is totally OK. Not OK to me, is the " Whatevers out there" response when looking for first a Calla Lilly and secondly for weed fabric stakes. MUCH BETTER WOULD BE " I DONT KNOW, BUT PLEASE LET ME CHECK" The dismissive dont bother me response was two completely different employees so attitude appears universal I shop there for convenience, as I live in Sherwood and find the other departments much more customer service friendly! For Garden items, I will def go elsewhere!

I have been coming to this store for almost 8 years and I am really disappointed in the Managers (one in particular) at this store. This person should not be a manager of anything . Please be aware of her ! Believe me have gone above her head when one of here employees damaged my truck! ( which was Brand new and she made he comment ) Oh thats nothing look at all the other damage ! The attitude was not my fault and who cares ! If there was another store nearby where I live with good prices ! I would definitely wouldnt come here !

My wife went in 3 different times for an item and their department specialists stated they did not have an item and could not even figure it out with a picture. The ladies at the check out area are notorious for standing there ready to help, however when you get close they walk in front of your cart for no good reason and make you steer to the other side or hit them. duh. stay on one side or stay out of the way. They have everything but unless you know what you need and where to find it, good luck.
