Admittedly this will sound like a strange post since I did ultimately buy a car here. The car itself was what we were looking for and eventually got to the price we wanted. So far, pretty happy with the car. The experience getting it was pretty awful. I pulled into the lot where five salesmen were sitting on a golf cart looking more like frat guys waiting to pounce on a sorority girl. I got fifty feet into the lot and almost ran over another salesman who came from inside and made a beeline to my car. Had I not been slowing down to get my bearings as to where the new and used cars were I probably would have hit him. He was literally knocking on my drivers side window motioning me to roll down the window. I did and he thrust his hand in for me to shake. The kid was new and I told him later that he was nice but needed to tone it down some. Still, I had seen a car online we really wanted and we had driven a half an hour to get there so we were committed. I really wanted to leave but my wife said we should stick it out. They wanted all sorts of information just to show a car. I started to leave again but we continued. They kept pressing to buy a new car even though it was out of our price range. We finally got to see the used car we wanted and drove it home. We came back and told them that we were happy and that we had a check for it. We were bombarded with questions about buying the newer version and told that they really had to push them there and that we could get the same exact car but brand new for just a few dollars more. We bit and discovered that a few dollars was $75 more than the used a month! We told them no and that we just wanted to take the used car home we liked. Then, ten minutes later, after we had started all the paperwork for the car we wanted, the new car sales guy comes over, sits down and says okay, we can do $49 a month more on a new one. My wife and I politely told them no once again and also told them we needed to get going since I had to be at work. Five minutes later same guy comes back and says he can get us the new car for just $29 a month more and slides us the paperwork. By now my wife and I were both getting up to walk out and told them that we were working harder to purchase the car we wanted than they were selling it. The new car guy literally pushed the paper across the desk and said fine, huffed and puffed and stormed off. The regular sales guy did his best to smooth it over. Had we not really liked the car and had the check and paperwork almost done (and been sick of shopping for cars) we would have bailed. After it was over with, the salesman told his buddy to bring the car around and squirt a little gas in it since it was empty. The guy complied and put less than half a tank in it.I have never bought a car new or used where they did not fill it up or give me a gas voucher to do so. We got a two minute tour of all the bells and whistles and the salesman went back inside almost as if to lick his wounds. We left thinking we had done them a huge disservice for offering them our business. I am still happy with the purchase and price, but I assure you I will not ever deal with Carriage Nissan or any other Carriage car dealership again. Sorry for the long response but it has been chewing on me since the day I bought the car. The owner should be ashamed if he indeed does make his people push this hard to buy new and makes his customers feel like crap when they leave. I dont mean much to them and I am sure they will not feel a thing if I do not go back, but maybe this will just serve to let others know that you are going to get crapped on when you go. Best of luck, JandJ.

Today I simply called to confirm my appointment time for my 2016 Altima at the collision center. It was suppose to be on Monday at 8am and I wanted to double check. I called and the receptionist and she transferred me many times. Then she tells me that no one can see appointments because the collision center is closed. I told her it has to be someone that knows and I asked her if a manager would know. She transferred me to his extension (Chris Ellison). Of coarse I got no answer. I called back and the same girl told me to leave him a message and he will call me back. I ask her for the managers name and she told me Chris Ellison. I asked her what her name was and she says she has no authority over anything. I told her I didnt ask her that I asked whats her name and she hung up on me!!!! I never raised my voice, I never used bad language, nor was disrespectful to her! I was so upset I drove over to the dealership! I just got my car serviced on Tuesday and worked with Brandy Ray and she was awesome. When I got there I went back to her because she had be so nice an courteous when I worked with her before. I explained all this to her and she was very apologetic and was working hard to made sure I was being helped. She call over her service manager (I didnt get him name) but he assured me that I would have that appointment time either way for all the trouble. Brandy still apologizing called Chris Ellison over to speak with me about the receptionist hanging up on me. He finally walks over with a look on his face of discuss and immediately I knew he did not care about anything I had to say. He just told me that we cant look at appointments and all calls are recorded, and never even apologized! He didnt care about anything that I had to say. Chris Ellison is suppose to be an Operations Manager??? Well they really need to find a new one because he had no concern about my complaint. I am also an Operations manager I would never treat a customer that way nor take this type of complaint lightly! You claim to give the best customer service well you have royally failed! Im am highly disappointed on the way I was treated by the receptionist and management. Im sure you dont care by seeing the responses from other complains on here but I will not let this go until I feel Ive been heard!

Since I live about an hour away from Carriage Nissan, this was last on the list of places to visit. I spoke with Alex, the GM, the night before to inquire about looking at a particular 2015 Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Nissan Altima. Upon arrival, I was greeted by JP, a salesperson who helped me with looking at the original Altima I was after, and the smell of fresh baked pastries (sadly this was just an air freshener). I was then introduced to Alex. After meeting and discussing my budget with Alex, he took me to see the other selection of CPO Altimas. Both Alex and JP made my mother and me feel like family. They went above and beyond in treating me like a valued customer, although this was my first visit to Carriage! They were transparent with me in answering my questions, and they did their best to find the most suitable options for me. Although I told them that I was dissatisfied with the first Altima, they took me to look at some others. I saw another Altima I really liked, but unfortunately it was a bit outside my price range. The following moment was the moment that changed my perception of dealerships! Although the second Altima I looked at was outside my price range, they showed me another Altima that was actually better (newer, fewer miles, local purchase, etc.) than the first one, and it was even cheaper!!! They could have shown me an Altima that was much older, had many more miles, or "downgraded" me to a Sentra. This was perhaps what made me want to buy from them! The entire experience was relaxed and low stress. They worked with me and showed extreme generosity! They offered to spend money on detailing my purchase (due to paint scratches) and provide me with a second key FOB, at no cost to me! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone purchasing a Nissan! If I didnt live so far away, I would come here more often. Thank you Alex, JP, and the business manager (GB I believe was his name), for meeting my needs in a kind and patient manner!
