not impressed with the store, very minimal to no customer service. and when we brought our puppy there for grooming the women grooming him did not seem like a dog person in the least bit, I was skeptical leaving my pup in her care. When we got him back you could tell his coat had been washed and his nails definitely clipped but he was still damp and his coat was shedding everywhere, so Im assuming he wasnt brushed or blown dry. The whole reason he was brought to groomer was for the blow dry and the brushing which normally takes care of excess shedding and loose hairs. Very disappointed

Was sold 2 fish that ate my other fish. They were not marked as aggressive anywhere. The lady even asked if we have other fish. This was my first tank setup and it was short lived. They also sold me a small bamboo plant that polluted my tank with tiny spongy fibers. Oh and killed my pleco. After the aggressive fish ate 2 guppies and my gold dust molly. The place seems poorly ran by management. You cant just be selling people anything. People expect you to be educated on pets considering its a pet store. Will not give any more of my business to Petco. Ever.

Always has dead worms in cooler. Animals do not have adequate space nor do they have adequate food and temperatures. I asked if they had and more calci worms because all four containers carried dead ones. They tried to sell me super worms to my BABY bearded dragon. When I asked to speak to a manager she simply told me she was busy. Crappy chain of stores. These should be shut down for animal brutality

My family and I were looking to adopt a kitten, we stopped into Petco in Canton on Ford Rd. and lucky for us there was a pretty girl up for adoption, the clerk gave us a phone number to Lisa, the rescue rep, she called back immediately and by the end of the day had a new family member. The whole staff was very helpful.. and we couldnt be happier.

Weve been working with Jake for the past two weeks with our dog Bear. The Adult level 1 was a requirement for our adopted buddy, so Petco being close, we thought "why not". My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by Jake and his training skillset. Wed recommend Jake to others looking for help with their dogs.

I usually shop here and its inconsistent whether Ill leave happy or infuriated. Someone said theyll get someone for a fish for me. I waited 20 minutes as numerous employees came and went. Within a minute of grabbing a bag and bet and doing it myself suddenly they show up and are mad at me. Lmao.

The staff here are fantastic, even when my dog comes in screaming at everyone there. Theyre patient, listen to you, and remember you when you come back. Theyve already helped my dog and his training immensely so far.

Great variety of items and fish ect. No one came up and asked us if we needed help. We were in the store for over an hour. First time that had happened. Staff was readily available.
