I disagree with Calvin! I am 73 years old and every time I have been in this store I have been approached and asked if I needed help. If they couldnt answer my question they got someone that could. I find the store neat and tidy (I am a fussy person) and the personnel very helpful. Teenage women? I saw one women personnel in there yesterday and I would say she was in her early 20s, all the rest were men in their 20s -30s.

The store is dirty. The appearance of the staff who are generlly twenty something females is nor professional. On two visits, the staff was hanging around in the small office with the manager. This is nott the experience I used to receive at the oyal Oak, Mi. store. These people are clearly headed for the small buiness graveyard, in my opinion. No customer service, no interest in doing their jobs. A huge disappointment.

DO NOTTTT BUY ANY ANIMALS FROM HERE! THEY ARE INFESTED WITH MITES! I WAS WONDERING WHY MY HAMPSTER KEPT GETTING THEM, THOUGHT IT WAS FROM THE BEDDING...UNTIL I WENT BACK AND LOOKED AT ALL THE OTHER ONES...YOU CAN SEE THE MITES ON THEM IN THE CAGES. I TOLD THE THE MANAGER AND ALL HE SAID WAS TO BRING IT BACK AND HE WOULD TAKE CARE OF THEM, OR GET MY MONEY BACK AND THE NEXT DAY MY HAMPSTER DIED =(

They are a pet friendly store and my puppy loved shopping there. The people, their pets and the employees are all very friendly and helpful. Prices are higher for similar items that I could buy at other stores, so we stuck to just a couple small items.
