While the Caltech Bookstore, and Caltech Wired, used to be reasonable stores for books, office supplies, and computer accessories, it seems that ever since the bookstore reorganization and the Caltech financial crisis, theyve turned into a miserable, useless store. Most of the store is now closed off and empty; what remains is dark and disorganized. The Wired section now carries few products, doesnt have prices on most of their products (which are now considerably overpriced, since they mostly only carry Apple-branded accessories now), has an absurd return policy (NO RETURNS ON APPLE PRODUCTS, despite being most of their inventory), and employees that seem to spend most of their time being unhelpful and loudly watching obnoxious anime on the display models.

the get to see what calculus books these caltech students use. the book is about 9" high and in black and white. they dont have to deal with all the distractions and the sidetracking remarks as the other schools textbooks for the same subject. i think that the caltech students are able to learn the materials much better this way. i also some organic chemistry sets for sale at the caltech book store. beads and sticks for the female students that is lazy. and i liked the bookstore is is open on the saturdays too for students to enjoy

The lady Susan Mendoza managing the online orders is super arrogant. You cant ask anything even though theyre the ones who messed up they make it seem like being arrogant and aloof absolves them of all responsibilities. Jeez its such a shame because even the professors themselves are not this arrogant. Reflects really badly on the University.

In remodeling and it doesnt stock too many books at present. But lots of them involve Richard Feynman.

Not too many books but good for buying computers and t-shirts, and things like that.

It is not literally a bookstore. Instead, its more like a souvenir store for Caltech.

The Caltech Bookstore is a great place to grab Caltech merchandise.
