i found out about CVSs minute clinic through my healthcare provider. after some very severe symptoms that were worsening over the course of two months, with no help from otc medications, i decided to pay them a visit. long story short, i had a triple whammy rhinitis, sinusitis, bronchitis with possible walking pneumonia, and high blood pressure to boot. Dr. Corley was very nice and performed my examination past closing time, she informed me that i would need a chest x-ray to verify the pneumonia, but instead of making me jump through lots of expensive and time consuming hoops, she prescribed me some antibiotics as a preventative measure, and a few other meds to help cure my conditions. she consulted over the phone with another doctor for a second opinion, was extremely helpful in explaining my conditions to me, how the prescription drugs would work in fixing my problems, what OTC meds i should and should not take, what to do in case of worsening symptoms, and answered all of my followup questions directly. she provided all the documentation from my visit immediately as well as the bills to both myself (for the meds) and what my insurance would get billed for the examination. i got my prescriptions filled right in the store within the hour and she even gave me some coupons for some otc meds that she recommended. the pharmacy staff was nice too, had to wait a bit but all things considered the response time was extremely fast. i have had several experiences with careless doctors who dont listen to patients and like to keep information hidden from us, so i was a bit worried after reading all the reviews here, but the service provided was absolutely top notch. fast, cheap and effective, this is exactly what we need more of in the medical industry. 6 out of 5 stars, seriously.

The people here are EXTREMELY disinclined to help you at any cause. The store could be completely empty (which it often is) and they will tell you to use self check out while standing alone at the register. Its as if they are going out of their way to be unhelpful. I once Waited at the register for 20+ minutes for someone to show up because all of the self check out registers were down and when the lady finally cared to come up the first thing she says is "use the self check out". I went up to the register with a product once for a price check because there was a difference between the price online and at the store-when I asked the guy at the register to check the price he responded "the price checker is over there" pointing to another location and I respond "dont you have the ability to check it on the register?" Then he gets an attitude and takes the item all the way over there to check it-what an idiot, I dont know what point he was trying to make because if he rung the item up like I was buying it the price would have came up and I could of chosen from there to refuse purchase. I dont know if this is CVS policy or just the employees at this location, but another annoying thing is that if you have a coupon on your card they will not notify you (long ago they use to always notify me if I had a coupon after scanning my card and they always tell me at Walgreens). When I do tell them I have a coupon on the card they will give me a dirty confused look-for several reasons I dont go here unless I absolutely have to. Also CVS is ridiculously over priced. When you buy bogo you are still paying for the price of two items with most of the things they sell.

This place is a joke. It routinely takes me ~a week to get prescriptions filled. Yesterday on day 4 of trying to get my prescription filled I called and asked if it was ready. The pharmacist who answered the phone said it was ready at another CVS pharmacy. I have asked AT LEAST four times to have this prescriptions transferred from that pharmacy to this one. I told her to please transfer it and to make sure it was transferred permanently. She said my prescription would be ready in an hour. I went by 3 hours later and they had never transferred the script and by that time the other pharmacy was closed. I call back today and its STILL not ready. Shes says it will be filled in an hour. Okay, I go down 3 hours later and, hey, guess what? It never got transferred. Plus, this is medication that is extremely, extremely important. The worst thing is that this is not even usually bad. I have seen pharmacists sleeping on the job here. They have the worst attitude ever and look down on all of their customers. Its actually hilarious how they SLAM down the phones to put customers on hold when they call. And dont be surprised if you wait over an hour on hold before someone will talk to you. This has happened to me MANY times. FYI The pharmacy is open 24-7

Ive been using this pharmacy because it has a convenient location, but they seem to consistently be rude to customers. And that is based on how Ive witnessed them treating others, not just based on how they treat me. Today I went to pick up a prescription and after standing idly behind the pick-up counter for a while looking at employees pretending to be busy, I moseyed over to the only counter which had an actual person behind it (the drop-off counter). I told the person behind the drop-off counter that I needed to pick up a prescription and she rolled her eyes at me and told me to go to the pick-up counter. I responded that theres no one there and she told me that someone will come if I stand there twiddling my thumbs (this may sound like an arrogant thing to write, but its true - but my time is more valuable than hers). Not wanting to start a fight, I resumed standing behind the pick-up counter and waiting for something, by some miracle, to happen. There was literally no other customer there but I must have waited 5 minutes for someone to finally ask me whether I was there to pick something up. The whole time she had an attitude with me. I dont know why I bother. I think they should fire all the employees in the pharmacy and start over.

I would not recommend this pharmacy. Avoid at all costs. Terrible customer service with staff members who are clearly not happy working here, and it shows through their atrocious customer service. I have nothing against African Americans, but the vast majority of the staff member at this pharmacy are African American males. I have been to this pharmacy several times, and all of the African American male staff members Ive encountered were all very rude and unaccomodating. They cut you off when you are talking, and talk over you when you are speaking. Their customer service skills needs improvement, and they talk to you as if you owe them money. They (the African American male staff members) do not have the patience nor the desire to provide you with good customer service and do not have the patience nor the desire to help you and to ensure that you receive the medications you need. In addition, they "accidentally" deleted the refill on my prescription making me have to make an appointment with my doctor to get another prescription instead of filling my refilling. When I asked them which pharmacy staff member "accidently" deleted my refill, then tell me that they have no way of knowing which staff member did it. Very frustrating!
