Ok I have spent a lot of time with the guys down at Harley of Knoxville WEST and do believe if there is anyone who can give an honest review it is me. I purchased a 1998 Dyna Wide Glide 03/09/2015 and was extremely happy and got it for a great price! Now on my way home going down Pellissippi the bike died, I restarted it and carried on. Now my train of thought was it died because of the pipes being straight piped and the bike not being re-jetted for the pipes, so I bought some baffles. After installing the baffles it died again just randomly, so I hauled it back up to Harley WEST. REMINDER- I did sign an "AS IS" paper with the purchase of the bike. I walked into the store and was met by Ken Mayes (my sales man) I explained to him what the bike was doing and he called Dale Bradford. Dale explains to him that they would take a look and see what was going on with it. I agree and leave the bike with them, 5 days later a get a call saying I could come and pick up my bike that they replaced the ignition and had rode it 25 miles without a problem. I picked up the bike and made it 6.8 miles and it died. Pulled over to the side of the road and called Knoxville Harley WEST, spoke to a mechanic who asked me to bring the bike back and they would take another look. Returned the bike and 2 days later received a call saying that they believed it was the ignition module, they were replacing it and would give me a call when it was finished. 4 Days later I get a call from the service department saying the bike was ready, they replaced the module and put 50 miles on it. I arrive at the dealership after work where Dale meets me and apologizes for everything and gives me a $50 dollar gift card, I thank him and hit the road. 3 miles the Wide Glide dies. I gave them a call and they rushed to where I broke down with a truck and trailer. When they arrived they questioned me about the way the bike died and decided to ride it back to see if they could get it to act up. They made it a foot and it died. Dale then told me he was sorry and said they would be in contact with me the next day. The next day I got a phone call from Dale saying that the problem was electrical and that they had two options for me. 1 was to keep trouble shooting and fix the bike or 2 was for them to just pay that bike off and let me apply my down payment to another motorcycle! After looking through their awesome inventory I decided on a 2012 Super Glide! I REALLY appreciate everything that they did for me and didnt have to. I love my "new" bike and couldnt of made it happen without the help of the Knoxville Harley team. Thanks for the support and making it happen, Dale Bradford, Ken Mayse and Rick Harvey.

We walked in and were never greeted. We walked around for a bit over 20 minutes and no one even asked if we needed anything. My husband had to wait on someone to finallycome to the parts desk to ask about diagnostics on his VRod. While he talked I looked for a place to sit, but every sitting area was being used by employees. I ended up sitting on the steps for the rest of our visit. I absolutely got the feeling we were not worth the time of this shop. Its a shame this is what its come to. Save your time and shop online.

I have always received excellent service at Bootlegger Harley Davidson. Greg and John Paul run a great shop and Kenny Banks is the best mechanic in Tennessee possibly the good ole US of A. Joe has a great parts department and everyone is very friendly and goes out of their way to be helpful. I wouldnt think of going to another dealer. I live in south Blount county and drive past another Harley dealer and ride another 20 miles to get to Bootlegger Harley Davidson. Thank you David Brown and staff. Larry Key

These people will put adds on Craigslist that are not true. Bought a motorcycle & they said it was one thing & it was totally different. When we called them they were no help what so ever. They have the shittiest attitude. If you buy a bike from them make sure they arent lying to. you & you actually buying what you are looking for. If you have any problems what so ever be ready to be on your own with it!!
