Staples states that they have an easy return policy- I wanted to exchange an item that I had purchased a few days prior due to buying the wrong item. I didnt have my receipt, nothing wrong with the item, and I was buying something for $10.00 and returning something for $5.99. I was told to leave the item with the cashier and get the item that I wanted. I returned to the cashier and was told to insert the card that I used to make my purchase and choose if I used credit or debit. I use multiple accounts and cards so I wasnt sure what card I used and if I used credit or debit. After trying 3 cards and combinations the cashier said none of them were the correct card used. I then had to wait for the manager to go look up the transaction and get all the information for a $5.99 item that I was exchanging for a higher priced item. I believe they should remove the statement of Easy returns because this definitely was not easy and I wont be returning to Staples.

Copy Center employee Melissa and rude and condescending to customers. She did not want to take my order for a copy job and when she finally did she did not follow instructions in the email for the amount of copies I needed. She charged me extra because I was waiting there and snickered and laughed when I told her that it was not good customer service to ignore instructions and not complete the whole job and then charge extra for it. She needs another line of work.
