REF: Better Business Bureau Complaint @10594718 The worst sales people and management I have ever experienced. I will never go there again. Its like you are invisible to the sales people when you walk in. I actually had to go to walk up to the customer service counter to ask if there are any sales people here who can assist me. I was told that they are all in the bathroom! LOL. Also, the customer support people do not speak English very well, so there is the issue of communication. I am surprised they are in business. I should have gone with my first instinct and not gone in. The place looks run down from the outside and the fact that I was the only customer at the time, and I was in there looking at the furniture for about 30 minutes before I went up to the customer service counter to see if there are any sales folks or ANYONE who can assist me. Finally, when the one sales person came out of the bathroom to assist me, he was not very knowledgeable. Every time I asked him a question, he had to run to the service counter PC to look it up. To make matters worse, I ended up ordering a bed, which he said was in stock after looking at the PC for about 10 minutes. We paid for the item and it was supposed to be delivered in 10 days. I waited for the delivery date that was on my sales receipt, which did not have a time for delivery and was told that I would get a call on the date of delivery to confirm the time. I never got a call, so I call the store to ask. I was told, they were very sorry but they forgot to call me to let me know that the bed I ordered is not in stock and that the piece has been discontinued. I was frustrated and upset, so I said to process my refund on my credit card. Its been over week and I have not received my refund. I have called several times an spoke to the sales person who processed my charge and my apparently my refund. I was told that since they are a small business it will take longer to get my refund, What the HELL!!!!!! DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR SANITY AND MONEY.. SPEND it ANYWHERE ELSE. I HOPE I GET MY MONEY BACK SOON FROM THESE BOZOS! I did get my furniture from IKEA and paid a lot less and they did everything on time and as promised.

Bif gets an “F” from us in customer satisfaction. Before you purchase anything from Bif in Fairfax please read our experience. We purchased an Onyx dining table from Bif. The ordered was placed on 12/31/13. Table was eventually delivered on 4/18/14. While inspecting it with a Bif Representative we noted a crack and several small holes on one corner of the table. We discussed this verbally and in writing with Bif. After several emails exchanges, our sales representative ( John) finally got back to us and said he will have representatives from Stone International come by to our house to inspect the table. Stone International is the manufacturer of this Onyx table. They came by, inspected the table and agreed that there is a crack and the table has several small holes on its surface. They said that Onyx tables at times do come with this type of cracks and that our representative should have disclosed this information prior to us placing the order. Unfortunately for us, John neither verbally nor in writing had disclosed this information to us. Stone international offered to send a technician to our home to see if they can fix this. The technician came in but unfortunately the cracks or the holes could not be fixed. We had asked Stone International that what if it can’t be fixed? They responded that then we it is a problem that Bif management has to fix since they did not disclose to us that Onyx tables can have some cracks on them. Had they done that we would have never ordered this table. We called John and told me if they can replace the table, or refund us or adjust their cost since the table has a defect on it. I was shocked to hear that he wants me to basically accept the table the way it is even though we paid close to six thousand dollars for it. I will not recommend this store to anyone given the unprofessional behavior I have encounter with our sales representative and the stone manager ( Sasha). I will take legal action to make sure they disclose this type of information to customers before they sale such products.

I hardly ever write reviews but this place has horrible customer service. At first, they appeared to have good costumer service. Ill give them this, they have good high end furniture (lets wait till I actually have received the furniture to confirm). It took 3 months to actually get the furniture to the area. When it arrived and was ready for delivery they schedule the delivery for an upcoming Saturday. When I hadnt heard from them with a time for the delivery, they said I wasnt scheduled for delivery 10 days later, which is a Monday, and both my husband and I are at work. There was no help from the employee who simply told me I was not scheduled for delivery until later and they are full the day the delivery was supposed to be scheduled. I asked to speak to the manager and was told he would call me in 15-30 minutes. Of course, that didnt happen and when I called again later they said they were closed and they Informed me that the manager would call right back. To note, they purposely ignored by concerns and didnt call me so that they would be closed and didnt have to address my issue and their mistake. Didnt happen. Now Im stuck with a pickup for my old couch and dining set which cant be cancelled and will have no furniture for 2 rooms for a period of time. Lastly, when you first go to the store and purchase your furniture, they are polite and speak coherently. However, when I called at anytime thereafter, the employees barely spoke English and couldnt communicate with basic words or understanding. Im sorry to be so harsh, but avoid this place at all cost and go elsewhere.

My husband and I truly enjoyed decorating our apartment with bif furniture store. Their staff is so helpful, we used Kim, and patiently helped up plan different layouts and visualize how the sizes of each piece would look in our space. Almost our entire living room was done from bif furniture. I love how you can pick a piece you like and then have a variety of different fabrics and finishes to choose from. They have great shipping rates and the quality of the furniture is excellent. We were unhappy with a slight imperfection in a marble top and they immediately switched it out for us. The price we found to be extremely reasonable- it wasnt cheap, but was well worth the quality we were getting. Once we upgrade our space to a full house we will absolutely be coming back to bif furniture. Our only hope is that kim is still there to assist us.

My husband and I purchased a gorgeous dove grey leather sectional and coffee table for our family room as well as a sofa and love seat, rug and coffee table, end table and lamp, accessories and a funky open wall unit. Alecia was our sales associate/interior designer who helped us place the furniture perfectly in our rooms. She worked with us and helped us select fabrics and colors that would blend. They gave us a three month time frame and the day after the three months were up, we got a phone call that our furniture was ready to be delivered. We would definitely go back when its time to replace bedroom furniture - in a few years. We were very pleased with the customer service BIF provided us. Ask for Alecia when you go to BIF.... she is patient and she knows her fabrics!!
