By far the most unprofessional car dealership I have ever had the displeasure of walking in to. The sales staff can be described as nothing other than complete ignorant bold faced manipulators. I had the terrible misfortune of dealing with Alfred and a new salesmen Gary. While although Gary was quite clearly new to the job, he severely lacked in general vehicle knowledge all together. In fact he even told me that the car I was looking at got "22, 23 or whatevuh gallons per mile"….. GALLONS per MILE. I could not even believe the stupidity coming from this mans mouth. I chalked it up to him being new and maybe slightly nervous and tried to move on. Then Alfred finally came into the picture to try and salvage the "deal". I clearly told him the budget and description of exactly what I was looking for, he then proceeded to show me cars in the lot that had flat tires on them, garbage left inside the vehicles and cars that were $10,000 over my budget. Needless to say I was not impressed. I decided to give them one last shot and return the next day when they promised that the specific car I saw online would be on site. I arrived and was greeted by Gary, spouting off illogical "facts" about the vehicle I came to see. I opened the door of the car and was slapped in the face by the most strong WEED stench that could only come from a car owned by Cheech and Chong. I mean, it smelled as if snoop dog himself was living in this vehicle for the past 6 months at least. Gary then proceeded to tell me that the car "smelled smokey but he didnt smell any weed". I had known this man for less than 24 hours and I could clearly tell that this man KNOWS what weed smells like. Anyway, I decided to at least sit in the vehicle, the interior was dingy and yellowed I just happened to glance up at the ceiling and see what appeared to be BLOOD SPLATTER all throughout the car. I jumped out and immediately acquired if someone was shanked in the vehicle. Walked around to the trunk expecting to find a body of some sort. Opened the compartment where the spare tire was kept and was again slapped in the face with an incredibly strong weed smell, looked down and could even see remnants of where they in fact stored the weed. At this point Gary starts back peddling and then brings in a revolving door of 4-5 various salespeople/managers/custodial staff, I dont even know at this point. All of which are trying to still sell me the car. Then they begin telling me that the price that they in fact advertise online is not the actual price of the vehicle. The online price is only for people with rock bottom credit scores. But if you have a credit score above 730 you have to pay the MSRP which is $4,000 more than the advertised price. Really these people should be reported to the B.B.B. Ignorant sales staff set aside, their business practices are deplorable. Needless to say I left, went down the road to the Toyota dealership and purchased a vehicle that day. If you are in the Westchester area, I strongly encourage you to make the drive out to Paramus Mitsubishi. You do not want to waste your time with Victory Mitsubishi.

On Saturday April 4th I went to Victory Mitsubishi a little unsure of if I was going to make a purchase of a new Mitsubishi. I was very interested in the Outlander Sport model. After sitting with the salesman Jose Gomez I decided to take the vehicle for a test drive and felt it was the car for me. When we returned to the office to start discussing numbers I had my dog with my who was having a hard time with the smoke detector which had a bad battery and was beeping so I had to leave. Jose was nice enough to ask if he could follow up with me in the next few days and I agreed. Sunday was Easter and he called to see if I was interested in looking at it again and I hesitantly agreed as I was worried id be in love with the car and not be able to afford it as price was a big concern of mine but I stood him up. Monday he called again to see if everything was ok and if id give it one more look and told me his boss Shane was willing to do whatever he can to meet my needs. He was never pushy or called too many times. It was enough to just keep it in the back of my mind and not let me forget how much I liked the car so I decided whats the worst thing I stick with my car? I walked in and was greeted by both Jose and Shane. I ran off all my "demands" and Shane got to work crunching the numbers. They came back with a price that was a minimal difference from my current car payment and I was ecstatic. The whole process started at 6:15 and by the time everything was done it was 10:30, I know it was late but they just made everything easy and kept the mood very uplifting even though I was ready to go to sleep. They quickly had the car getting ready, walked me through the insurance transfer as well as getting my trade in payoff in order. I was Joses first sale as he had just started the week before and other then me asking him crazy questions that most likely didnt pertain to the car itself or "what if" scenarios he was very helpful and was able to answer question or get the person who does know to speak to me. He never made me feel as if I was getting taken advantage of or was just another sale to add to his pay check ( Shane as well) When the sale was just complete and the papers had to be signed I was informed to speak to Devon Hawkins. He walked me through the numbers so I saw exactly what I was signing and when I had a question he explained it to me clearly where as I didnt leave confused ( some places may do that). I would strongly recommend this dealer ship as well as all 3 of these guys to assist you with your next purchase, I am a very cautious person and never would have thought that I could get a brand new car in my price range and not feel like I was bullied into it but that is so far from what occurred at Victory they kept everything REAL!! It was an amazing experience and Im not sure if they are ready to accept it but I am pretty sure they are stuck with me as I would get my next car there and so on and so on.

I am updating this post, Chris the actual new owner contacted me right after the below was posted, it appears the Chris I spoke with below was a sale person who is now no longer with them, the owner apologized for what happened below, stated he is cleaning house and these reviews are not how he wants his dealership to be run. He offered me a customer service recovery toward my car in good faith. I wish him well in his goal to rehire, educate and train the staff representing both him and the Mitsubishi line of cars. I am a loyal mitsubishi owner for 18 years from my Montero to 3 outlanders. I bought the 2016 outlander from this dealer, after spending 5 hours in the dealership on 11/20/16 and listening to 3/4 children running around screaming the whole time. By 12/5 they had not paid off my lease. 7 calls later got the royal run around by each member including Theo, swore check was sent even sent me copy of fed ex label. Twice they printed labels but never called to actually have packet picked up. My loan was now 32 days late. On 1/3/17 I placed a call to Mitsubishi organization to lodge a complaint. I called dealer one more time and demanded an owner. Chris picked up. When I asked him his role the response was "whats the difference I could be an owner or a mechanic I was asked to pick up the phone how can I help you. That was the final insult. I gave him one hour to settle my account with the bank or I was calling my attorney and the attorney general. Theo then had the gall to call me claiming he sent the check which I knew he didnt. Roe in finance took my threat seriously, admitted that fed ex was never called to pick up packet X2. She gave me new tracking # and assured me fed ex was now called. I contacted fed ex who called me on 1/4 to say they picked up packet and it was now delivered. Loan is paid 33 days late, 7 weeks after I bought the car, working with bank not to kill my credit score. If this is the type of dishonest dealership Mitsubishi has representing their product then I am now done. This will be my last car. Read the blogs on this dealer and their auto repairs. Frightening. Thank you Victory for the worst experience in 40 years of buying a car and insulting my intelligence over and over.
