If I could leave a lower review than a 1, I would! Awful experience. We ordered our couch with delivery expected before we had company for Thanksgiving, all went well up until it was delivered. I took time off of work for the delivery. Once it came in, I immediately noticed a large puncture mark in one of the cushions. It was very apparent someone tried to stitch it back together and did a terrible job! I called and spoke to Pedro, who said they inspected it before it left the warehouse, and had no damage. He assured me it would be repaired within a week(before thanksgiving) and that Bessie would call me later. Several days went by when I had to follow up with Bessie. She acted like she had no idea about the issue. She said she would order the new cushion and would call when it comes in. About a month went by when I called Bessie again. It took her a long to recall our previous conversation, and once she did I got the same answer-It was on order and she would call me. Bessie assured me it would be repaired before Christmas. It is now New Years at the time of this writing and still no update, couch is still torn, no refund, nothing. Customer service is non-existent. I would have gladly paid more for furniture had I known this would have been our experience. I absolutely will be pursuing further action against Puritan!

The furniture that I ordered from them was great for the price. The only problem, to which I see it as a reoccurring theme from the other reviews, with Puritan is their customer service. The bedroom set and mattress that I ordered was not in stock and I was told that it would take about a week to come in and that they would call me. After about a week and a half, I decided to call them and they informed me that it would be in that week and it would be shipped to my house the following week. The person that I originally spoke to acted like I was bothering her and she transferred me to a different place. She made sure she informed me that I had reached to wrong department to which I thought to myself I knew which number to call I would have done so. Common sense approach. I will be receiving the bedroom set tomorrow within their 4 hour window. Hopefully it goes well Pros 1. The furniture is beautiful and you get a great product for the price. 2. Great selection 3. Sales person was great, Robert Braun. He has been there for like a 100 years, but he was awesome. Cons 1. Very disorganized behind the scenes 2. Customer service subpar. 3. If you are on a time table for delivery, give yourself a couple of extra weeks.

I bought a sectional couch where the parts are held together with long screws (non-standard size and not available at a hardware store). I noticed one of the arms was unstable, so I looked and sure enough a couple screws are missing, a washer and nut are missing as well as several spacers. I emailed and was told the issue would be taken care of. It has now been two months and I am repeadedy promissed that the parts are "on the next truck" and "with the next shipment." I love the couch, but am afraid it will fall apart without the missing parts. I wish I had looked at the construction better and noticed the parts while the delivery guys were still there instead of having to try to get them replaced over the phone and by e-mail.

I had a HORRIBLE experience with Puritan. I went with someone else who had recommended them. We were looking in their outlet, clearance section. I found a green sectional for $439.99 with no other tags on the furniture. I told the sales person I wanted to purchase it. After waiting several minutes, the sales person said the price was wrong and it was double the price. The sales person called and spoke with the owner who extended me the offer of $100 off a brand new couch rather than honoring the price on the tag. I was severely disappointed with the bait and switch they did.

I bought a futon frame and mattress and the frame broke within weeks of having it. The first service visit was 3 weeks late and they glued the frame back together. It broke again, and 3 months later puritian furniture still had not returned to fixed it and they refused to take it back. When we complained and tried to contact the owner we were told he didnt have a phone number and there was no way to contact him. This is some of the worst service I have ever experienced. Do not buy from them. Ever.

My wife and i bought a Temple couch about 5 months ago. It was is an 8 way hand tied spring with a 10 year guarantee on the cushion. The cushion broke down in less than 4 months. For the past several weeks I have been calling them to get the cushions replaced. Every time I call they say the truck was rescheduled. I am getting nothing but a runaround. Customers service, not here. When I call they make me fell like I am annoying them. Do yourself a favor, buy your furniture from someone else.

If you want the salespeople to lie to you and promise that your furniture will be on time, then this is the place to go. Not only did they promise that it will be on time, it was 6 weeks late. Their customer service is ridiculous. The concept to actually be respectful to the customers flies right out the door when they are at fault. Also make sure you read the contract before you sign anything. They put all blame on the manufacturer so they cant be held accountable.

I had an amazing experience at Puritan Furniture. I purchased an American-made Amish dining room set, an Amish bedroom set and two chairs for my living room. I have purchased Amish custom-made furniture from another company in the past. Puritans prices were much less. The customer service was exceptional. George Silva is the best. One comment I have is that they used to have a wide selection of accent pieces, but currently next to none.

I purchased furniture here not even 2 years ago and it completely fell apart! I spent over $3,000 on 2 sofas and a kitchen table set. The legs on the chairs fall off and are all lose!! On one of the couches the spring have popped out and you cant even sit on it! I called Puritan to see if they would fix it or replace it and they wont! Thank you for nothing!! Never coming here again or recommending ANYONE to come here ever!

Couldnt be happier with the service and the selection! I was immediately welcomed by a salesperson when I walked in the door. Happy for that because this place is HUGE! They have tons of furniture and many different price points. I would definitely recommend Puritan Furniture to a friend.

They do have some nice pieces, but their prices are way too expensive! We ended up buying only half of what we would have, because their prices were way too high!! As for the bedframe and matching headboard which we bought, they are definitely of good, solid quality.

People here actually listen to you and work within your budget. Good selection of furniture pieces. Easy payment plans for those who dont want to finance. Prices are not bad. Thanks Bruce for giving us a great deal on the sectional couch!!
