Despite receiving several warnings from my cycling friends, I decided to take my bike into Infinite Cycles in Riverton for repairs. In doing so I had three bad experiences with the technicians. Earlier this Spring I brought my bike in for a tune up. When I got my bike back the shifting was significantly worse than when I brought it in (strike 1.) On a subsequent visit, I mentioned this to a technician and I was told, "Im sorry to hear that," and he didnt make any effort to satisfy the customer by taking maybe 30 seconds to look at it (strike 2.) On said subsequent visit I brought my bike in to have the bottom bracket serviced and perhaps an overhaul due to some squeaking. I wanted to have the bearings examined (2,000 miles on them.) My rear wheel also needed to be trued. A few days later I received a phone call from Infinite stating they broke a spoke nipple from the hoop. Thus, my wheel needed to be sent to Mavic for repairs (under warranty.) My bike was out of commission for over a week and a half. The good news was I was told that my bottom bracket was healthy and my bearings were in great shape and didnt need to be replaced. The shop simply greased it up and tightened it. Well... I then took my bike out for a 25 mile ride. In the middle of the ride I start hearing a loud bang coming from my bottom bracket. It sounded like someone was literally hitting my bottom bracket with a hammer. So, I returned the bike to infinite and explained the problem. A tech takes my bike for a test ride and hears the noise as well. As the tech is taking apart my bike he calls Shimano to start talking about possible symptoms of the noise. He tells the Shimano tech that the bearings are fine and spin smooth but doesnt know what is causing the noise. I then hear the Infinite tech tell the Shimano tech how he went about servicing the bottom bracket. I gathered from the conversation that the Shimano tech informed the Infinite tech that this type of bottom bracket shouldn’t be greased, nor is serviceable for that matter. I then see the Infinite tech quickly grab a rag and start wiping the grease from the bottom bracket which was applied earlier. The new recommendation from Shimano was to replace the destroyed bottom bracket (strike 4.) So, my bike was hospitalized for another 4 days. I was then told that I need to pay for a new bottom bracket but that theyll give me a break on the install. I found this unacceptable as my bottom bracket was given a clean bill of health, not once but twice. However, by Infinite trying to service an unserviceable (press fit) bottom bracket it caused further damage and created the issues I was experiencing. The infinite tech then openly apologized to me and admitted he was unfamiliar with this type of Shimano bottom bracket. However, he still wanted to charge me for the replacement. I ended up speaking with the owner who defended his techs and blamed wear and tear for the breakdown even though his techs said my bearings were in great shape. We ended up agreeing upon a settlement of me paying for the cost of the new bottom bracket with no install fee. I just want to note that there were several opportunities to make things right with the customer for the shoddy repairs. I can no longer trust this shop with my repairs.

I purchased a bike from Brad & Cam (the owners) a year ago and not only did they sell me the absolute perfect bike for my riding style, they are always glad to see me when I go back for miscellaneous service or even just to say hi and tell them about a ride I just completed. These guys are serious about getting their customers involved in their cycling community and do it in a very accessible way. If youve wanted to be a part of a riding circle, they are THE way to do it in Utah. The best thing about these guys is that they will help you determine what your riding needs are and they know the best bike to suit those needs. They dont have the snobbiness inherent to other bike shops, they dont make mere biking mortals feel stupid for asking silly novice questions and they wont try to sell you something you dont need or couldnt benefit from. Theyll also help take care of your bike FOREVER. Seriously a great thing. Not paying for tune-ups is awesome! Highly recommended.

I was in the market for a Specialized Tarmac (they seem to be pretty popular around here) until I test rode the super six. I ended up getting the super six and its a superb bike. The best ive ever owned by far. Like all the other local bike shops (I shopped around), these guys charge retail prices for there bikes - unless you are fortunate enough to get a previous years closeout. Afterall, they have to feed their familes just like we do. The people that work there are knowledgeable and helpful, just like advertised. Of all the shops Ive been to south of Salt Lake, this is the shop I prefer.

These guys are great. Im not a rider but I have kids that love their bikes. My daughters new bike has a chainguard from h*@$ and I couldnt get the thing back to working condition after I fixed a rear flat. I brought it in and I know it took them at least 20 minutes to put everything back to how it should be. The bike works great again and even though it took some time to work on they kindly did not charge anything for helping me out. I plan to repay their kindness by recommending them and using them anytime I have bike repairs or purchases. Thanks, Infinite!

Infinite cycles is great! They were extremely helpful and specific to my needs. I love how they provide free estimates. This just proves how they care more about the individual and creating a good experience for them rather than just collecting money. This helped me to determine what exactly I needed now and what could wait. They are very professional in their work and did a fantastic job of detailing and cleaning my bike as well. It looks like it did when I first bought it and they’ve helped me maintain the value of it. Excellent company and wonderful employees!

Not very happy with their customer service. My bike is back in because they fix the problem the first time. Fixed my derailer so I thought but still isnt working. Also had my bike for 12 days picked it up and my handle vars were not tight! Had to go back again. What a mess. Have spend a ton of money there trying to get my bike working but I Wil not go back! I do not recommend this store at all. Nobody seems to really care how long they have your bike. Very disappointing and frustrating.

They were great when I needed to buy something but when it came time to service and warranty they fall off the chart BAD!!! They would not stand by their work or their product and wouldnt even consider fixing the part that failed. All that was told to me was that the part that I had purchased nine months ago was just too bad and I needed to buy a new one. I wont ever go there again and I would suggest you dont unless you are never planning on having them back up what they sell and install.
