Garrett was very helpful and knowledgeable. She assessed my riding experience and budget and did not try to sell me something that I didnt need. I tried a Dolce and a Ruby and visited the store 3x before making my final decision. I also went to another store that stocked the Liv Avail. I was looking for relaxed geometry to provide a comfortable ride and a bike that is smooth shifting. I am a real beginner when it comes to road biking. Garrett was fun to work and never pressured a sale. She brought in bikes from other Bingham stores and even held 2 while I made my decision. She also helped me find the right bike clothing for my level and interest. After trying the Ruby and Dolce on the same day, the clear choice was the Ruby. I cant see ever needing another bike. That being said, my husband is a very serious road bike rider who will be heading back to Bingham (and requesting Garrett) when buying the new Roubaix is in our budget. Bingham in downtown SLC has a great selection that is even better when you consider the stock in their sister stores is also available to you. Garrett is super knowledgable and a really fun person to work with. A stress free experience and I love my new bike!! Thank you Bingham and thank you Garrett! FYI... If you are looking for Garrett, I learned she normally works and manages the Bingham Sandy store.

I had been taking my bike to get tuned at another shop and was just never really happy with how it rode. I always thought it was the bike but a friend of mine recommended that I try Bingham. I took it down to the shop on 300W and Broadway. I have to say that after I picked it up my bike rode better then when I bought it. When I was shopping for a road bike I went in to see what they had, I tried out a Specialized but also wanted to try out a Scott, they didnt have it at that store but they brought it in from another one of their stores. After trying out both bikes I liked the fit of the Scott better, they never tried to upsale me and I was happy with the customer service I received. I have taken my bike back to get tuned and all the guys there are always very friendly and helpful. Bingham is now the only place Ill take my bikes to get tuned, because they are awesome!

There are so many bicycle shops in Utah- so when we first moved here we kind of "shopped" around trying to find the store we liked, felt most comfortable etc.... Bingham has become THAT store.... the minute you walk in you feel the difference ... the staff is amazing... they all seem genuinely happy to be there and that shows in the level of knowledge and expertise that they share with all their costumers! There is also something very unique about Bingham that in my opinion majorly stands out among all the rest of the bike stores in the state.... they take such pride in their community and doing service such as the bikes for tykes charity, and their promotion of the womens cycling community has been nothing but remarkable. This is one bike store I will continue to support, learn from, and enjoy using here in Utah!

i purchased a new mtb there and was told I would receive it 3 days later . After five days the bike was still not there , they had a mishap with the bike not being ordered. It kinda bugged me becouse I was going on my first ride that week, but there great customer service made up for it , they let me take a brand new demo bike free at charge. And the demo bike was sweet . They got my bike ordered the next day as promised and had it all set up waiting for my arrival . The guys there definitely know there bikes and really try to get you on a bike in your budget that fits your needs. They helped me out a lot with there bike knowledge.I will be back to purchase wifes bike and kids bikes thanks Bingham cyclery.

I had an absolutely great experience with Bingham Cyclery. I flew into town on business, but was hoping to get some mountain bike riding in while I was here. I called Bingham, made a reservation and got a 2016 Stumpjumper FSR Carbon Expert to demo for the weekend. The bike set up was top notch, and it was in great condition. The reservation process was a breeze, and the staff was helpful and competent with personalized suspension setup and recommendations on where to ride. I spent two days and 50 miles of trail riding on the bike with zero mechanical issues. When I come back, I will rent from them again, and recommend anyone who is thinking about renting a bike to stop by Bingham. They will set you up!

My autistic son took his bike in to have it shipped home. Mark told him it would be shipped in a week this was 2 weeks ago. My son kept calling Mark and he told him it was shipped and he would email the tracking number to him. I called today because once again he was told by Margie it was shipped, I asked her to give me the tracking number and she couldnt do it she then put Mark on the phone who couldnt give me the tracking number. They were avoiding this young man and were very misleading and giving him the run around thinking he was naïve and no one would care. If this is the way they treat people with disabilities then I would recommend you dont do business with them.

I purchased a tube for my mountain bike and had it installed. A week later the tire is flat and it turns out the valve stem detached from the brand new tube. I went in with my receipt and the guy I spoke with told me that they were not responsible for the tube breaking. said it was my fault and I need new tires. Then tells me he will sell me another tube for 20% off. I left immediately, I was furious. I will never shop there again. And I will tell everyone I know not to go there. All they want is your money. I paid $21 for a new tube and it lasted a week. What lousy products and lousy service. I suggest you shop elsewhere.

I visited Bingham for the first time recently. I was uncomfortable on my new ride and was going to purchase a piece I thought I needed. I forgot the guys name I spoke with but instead of selling me a part I probably didnt need, he suggested adjustments I can make on my own. His advice helped a lot, unfortunately I think I need a new saddle now. Before I buy one though Ill stop by Bingham again to see what my options are. Also, there are some people who work at the sidewalk eatery next door where the bike corral is that ride and like to talk bikes.

It can be intimidating walking into a bike shop when you dont know much about the sport. The staff here really cares about their customers, not just trying to sale you a bunch of accessories you dont need. They respected my budget and helped me find the best bike to fit my needs. Ive had it serviced twice now, and both times they spent time with me giving advice and showing me proper maintenance. Ill be buying all my future bikes here.
