Common items are a few cents cheaper than other competing stores like Target. For your sanity, it is worth those few cents to go to Target. The only reason why I come here is its vitamins. Entering adulthood means taking care of my body- and that means taking my daily vitamins. SOMEHOW, walmart sells its generic brand vitamins for half the price of others! Anywho, I live pretty close to here- way closer than I do Target, yet I wont go here for anything else but Vitamins. Why? Well, let me tell you. 1. The lines here are outrageous. Buying that ONE item? Even the express line will take more than 20 minutes. Want to return something? That line will be more than 30 minutes. 2. No one will help you. Youve seen an item online and it doesnt seem to be in that aisle? Tough luck. If you ask a store associate, theyll answer with "If its not there, its not there" 3. Ratchet central. There will be kids running around, slamming into your basket. There will be people eating food from the grocery aisle that they did not purchase. There might even be leftover food portions lying around! 4. Nothing is organized. Signs are missing. Store associates dont have those barcode scanning guns to help you locate a price if the sign is missing. 5. Its so dark and gloomy there. I have REALLY bad night vision, as in if the room isnt as bright as natural sunlight, I have trouble reading the words. So, going to walmart gives me a headache! TLDR; Go to target.

I went a brought an IPAD for my husband last month, but didnt realized that a new one was coming out. Nonetheless, I decided to return the IPAD, and wait until the new one comes out. I waited in the customer service line for 30 minutes for a return. Nonetheless, they were short $100.00 when returning the money in cash, ( which they decline when asked to have it debited back into my debit card.) I didnt realized it until I came home. I called Wal-Mart, asked if I can speak to the Manager, a rude lady came on the phone, ( not the manager) told me to bring it back to the store. When I explained to her what happen and asked her to audit her cameras to confirm, she gave me a discriminatory response assuming that I was the one at fault, but only realized later that I was right. I told her that I was upset for the way that she treated me. I understand that people make mistakes all the time and wasnt mad at guy who gave me the wrong refunded amount, but at her. I told her I wanted an apology, she refused, but later apologized when I demand to talk to the assistant manager. I asked for a written apology, they said they will mail it to me. It has been a month, no letter. I felt this is the worst customer service I have ever received. I felt discriminated, insulted, and definitely harassed.

I live near LAX airport on the Westside of L.A., and my girlfriend who lives in Alhambra introduced me to this Walmart in Rosemead about a year ago and ive been going to this Walmart store exclusively ever since. I love this particular Walmart more than any other ive been to. Ive been to about 10 other Walmarts all around L.A., Long Beach, and even the big Walmart store out in Covina, etc., and this Rosemead store is bigger, cleaner, carries and stocks more products than the others, has the huge grocery/market/bakery/deli section, and a huge separate outdoor center just a few steps out in the parking lot. Even the employees seem more friendly and better trained in my opinion. If youve been to other Walmarts and were not impressed, i highly recommend this Rosemead store over all the others in or around Los Angeles. Like another reviewer, i travel 25-30 miles once a week just to shop at this Walmart over closer ones to me, because its worth it. Check it out and youll be pleasantly suprised.

I love this place. I literally live 5 minutes away from here. I go here, to buy my supplies at the last minute. Im in middle school so its really convenient for me. However, I dont like how they rearranged the aisle. So confusing now. But other than that, its great!! The people are really nice too but can be a little slow. I once wanted to buy a fiddler crab secretly, I went to Walmart. I asked Customer Service I want a fish and they said theyll bring someone over but after like 10-15 minutes no one came. so I asked them again and they said to wait a bit more. And they came a little over 10 minutes or so but it was worth it. The woman was very friendly and cheerful and tried to give me a lot of information about them. Unfortunately, the crab died the next day for some reason. I put it in a tank and gave it food. Overall: The service is slow but friendly. (Some can be grouchy since almost half of them are teenagers) The fishes there suck. Could get a lot of stuff there for good prices.
