Its past time that I wrote a reveiw for this gem of a store in the middle of our neighborhood! I have shopped here for years, and the staff is always friendly, smiling and helpful. Even when Thinker Toys is packed with shoppers looking through the beautiful displays of varied toys, games and activities for kids of all ages, the staff has always been ready to support me to find exactly what I have needed. It is fun to go to brithday parties and see so many gorgeously wrapped birthday presents with "Thinker Toys" stickers on them! Twice now, I have been racing to a birthday party with my kids but without a present; I have called the store and they have had something wrapped and ready by the time I get there! These people bend over backward to serve their customers. Kids love the little cottage and the "hands on" areas of the store. I love the selection and the feeling of being "home" as soon as I walk in.

Again back there to get presents for neighborhood school parties. As often, it was not a happy purchase: there was a problem to make the wrapping ribbon with 4 colors ("we usually do 3 colors ...") ... manager sees fallen boxes on the floor and looks madly at us ... when asking for the owner (calling to report previous situations), girl hangs up ...

Best neighborhood toy store ever. We are thrilled to live within walking distance. And they open early on Saturdays so you can stop by on the way to a birthday party - genius! They have a great selection of toys and games - even games to borrow and try out. Couldnt ask for more. Thank you, Thinker Toys!

Take a kid to a neighborhood toy store, like this one, before you get TOO smitten by the internet. Sure, you could often pay a bit less from Amazon, etc... but here, that kid will look at you like youre Willy Wonka. Plus the staff is great, and the stock is nicely curated.

The atmosphere in this store is good and whenever I bring my son here, he gets so excited. I decided to get him a bike for his 6th birthday. The bike was cheap and of high quality. The staff was also helpful in helping me choose the right bike for my son.

This is exactly what Im looking for in a neighborhood toy store - friendly staff, great (and unusual) selection, and fair prices. On the downside - its hard to come here without buying something for my nephews or something fun for me to play with.

great store to browse around looking for neat gifts. take your kids, theyll love playing with all the items! only drawback is its not the cheapest option around, sadly, but well worth the trip to check it out

Lots to choose from, yet not overwhelming. Play area for kids, restroom available, and friendly staff. Prices are moderate, but its a local small business so it felt reasonable in order to support them.

Great local toy store. The only major problem is that everything is always more expensive than the alternative (Fred Meyer, Amazon). I understand why, but sometimes its like 20-30% more.

Want to be the best aunt ever? Take your niece here. Theres a playhouse. Totally made for kids to run around and explore things, more creative toy selection than a Toys R Us style spot.
