BEWARE! They sell expired stock. Bought this chili and saw on the bottle that it expired 2 years ago! Went to the store and explained it to the manager and she said "so what?" They dont understand its harmful to let people buy expired food! Go to Kroger nearby instead, folks! They now have a wide selection of asian merchandise.

Its alright, nothing spectacular. I prefer One World, out in Novi, and the only reason I went to Way 1 Supermarket, was because One World was closed. The staff isnt the friendliest, thats for sure. I dont know if its because they prefer all Asian customers, of if theyre just general purpose unfriendlies.

So I at the register, price came out to 28$, gave the kid 30$ and the cashier ask me, do you want your change? I was shaken for a second and replied. Why wouldnt I want my money. I wonder if this is a normal thing if they dont give out change to the customers.

They dont keep a consistent line of products. I waited two months for their Japanese mayo noodles; they still dont have them. They could improve the diversity of their products. Otherwise, I can find most of what I need there.

I would rather give a zero, bad and rude owner. Never go. Im sorry for myself to go that store. I had some question to ask them, the staff are extremely unfriendly and I felt the owner yelled at me!!!! Bad bad experience!!

Most products are from China, only a little Korean, Japanese food. It is big, so it even includes home ware and kitchen ware. some fresh vegetable as well as meat. the cashiers are slow and not very friendly.

Bought a frozen beef shank that was rotten. It was totally disgusting when we cooked it. Please check the expiration date when buying. Im giving 2 stars for convenience.

Local Chinese food store with good location. Some canned items are past dated, Just keep an eye out for them. They have small section of cookware kitchen items.

I love this place. I cant imagine why some people think Way 1 is expensive. I find the prices to be very reasonable and the staff to be helpful and available.

A pretty extensive produce selection as well as dry goods. A good place to go for Asian (particularly Chinese) products.
