I was suprised to see the poor comments of a young man who was not happy with the owners and called them greedy etc. First of all I would request him that he should have asked the owners why they charged him one dollor for credit card. In Ohio in the Liquor Stores business owners get 5.6% of commission. When customers use credit card the business owners have to pay swiping fee approx. .25 cents plus 3-4 percentage of the total transaction. What the business owners will make is between 1-2% and no small business can afford it. I am the customer of this store for the last more than four years and go to this store once or twice in a week. The owners are elderly people and are always so nice not only to me but to other customers too. I have been to the other stores also. Most of the stores accept only cash for liquor sale or charge a fee of dollor.

If you need a place to buy a nice bottle of wine or buy your alcohol, this place is IT. Beckett wine and liquor has a great selection of wine, beer, and of course every kInd of alcohol you can find. They are also open on Sundays! Not many places sell on Sunday but this place does, very important for football season. The most impressive part of this place is the owners Ram and Pat - they are the nicest folks ever and bend over backwards to make sure their customers leave happy. If they dont have something, you can just ask and they will make sure to personally get it for you. Next time youre in definitely ask about the wine tastings they frequently hold - a good way to try some local Ohio wines!

This has been my regular local spot since I moved to the area a couple years ago, but as of today Ill be shopping elsewhere. Owner refused to honor a sale price tag on the shelf on the basis that the sale had ended and shed have to pay the difference between the sale price and the new price. Good customer service would be to eat the $5 (come on) and be more diligent in updating your price tags. Im sure one customer wont make any difference to them, but I spend a lot of money every month on whisk(e)y and other alcohol to stock my home bar. I can just as easily spend it at any of the other liquor stores nearby (including Jungle Jims, which has better selection).

I called to ask what kinds of bourbon the store carried and was told by the man who answered that he didnt have time to look. It was 10:30 a.m. on a Saturday so I dont know the rush was! Because he was busy, I politely asked if he knew how many there were and he curtly responded "Fifteen, I gotta go" and hung up. Way to lose a customer on Super Bowl weekend.

Are you kidding me. Found what I needed and proceeded to register. Cashier informed me of the total. Gave him my bank card, and he charged a 1% fee for his cc processing charge. Are you kidding me? *small sign next to register explains it. Normal businesses absorb this as a business expense. I bet they make alot off that charge..

Called to find out hours on a Sunday, was told at 5:27pm that they were closing in "5-10 minutes." I find that closing time to be strange, but it would be helpful if this store had a website or listed their hours online somewhere. I work in a hotel; Ill send my guests to Jungle Jims in the future.

greedy and manner less people ever seen, there is a short lady in this store who always try to charge extra dollar as a credit card fee even if you buy liquor for $50 or more. now onwards I will go to jungles jim and get better options

Nice staff, but their selection sucks. If youre looking for unique, go elsewhere. If youre looking for staples like Jack Daniels, this works just fine.
